Rosalene Marie Lowe, 56, of Washington, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 300 block of East Main Street in Washington for failure to appear on an original charge of interference with official acts and failure to appear for a charge of driving under suspension.
David Alleyin Hudson, 19, of Brighton, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 100 block of West Fountain Street in Brighton on a Washington County warrant for failure to appear for mittimus on an original charge of violation of sex offender registry.
Jessie May Ruggles, 35, of Sigourney, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 100 block of North Main Street in Sigourney on a Washington County warrant for two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of prescription drugs.
Joseph Jennings Boone, 25, of Wellman, was arrested Wednesday evening at Highway 6 in Oxford on a Washington County warrant for domestic abuse assault.
Bryttany Latia Harrill, 16, of Washington, was charged on Aug. 15 with unlawful possession of a prescription drug.
A single vehicle rollover accident was reported Wednesday morning in the 1400 block of Ginkgo Avenue in Wellman. A subject was trapped inside. Officers, Washington County Ambulance, Wellman QRS, Wellman Fire and Wellman Rescue responded. One subject was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. The vehicle was towed.
A subject reportedly backed into a parked car Wednesday morning in the 300 block of Fifth Street in Kalona. Officers responded. Information was exchanged. The incident was documented.
A vehicle was reported illegally parked Wednesday morning in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington. Officers spoke with the driver, who explained she does have a medical issue. Officers advised she get it listed on the plate and get a doctor’s release.

A 9-year-old boy was reported riding a motorcycle in the alley in the 1000 block of East Second Street in Washington Wednesday afternoon. Officers spoke with the owner of the motorcycle, who put it away for the night.
A credit card was reported used Wednesday afternoon in the 100 block of North 15th Avenue in Washington to make a fraudulent purchase. Officers spoke with the caller. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 100 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington reported Wednesday morning her tire was slashed. No suspects. The incident was documented.
A residence in the 200 block of South Marion Avenue in Washington was reportedly vandalized with a BB gun Wednesday afternoon. Officers advised this is from a previous incident.
An officer was requested Wednesday morning in the 2000 block of Highway 22 in Kalona in reference to a subject harassing the caller’s 10-year-old child. Officers spoke with both parties.
A caller in the 600 block of Tam Street in Ainsworth reported Wednesday afternoon that a subject was harassing him via phone, text and Internet. Both work at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 3100 block of Highway 22 in Riverside reported Thursday morning that a subject in the high limit room was making threats toward staff members. Officers responded. The subject had calmed down prior to officers’ arrival. The problem was resolved.
A caller in the 300 block of Fourth Street in Wellman reported Wednesday afternoon her son was threatening to stab her with a butter knife. She was outside of the residence. Officers spoke with both parties. The son was using self-defense due to his mother threatening to assault him. The parties were separated for the night.
A dog was reported walking across the highway in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington Wednesday morning. Officers responded. The owner was given a verbal warning.
A dog was reported tied to a tree Wednesday afternoon with a chain around its neck. Officers spoke with the owner. The dog had been tied out for less than five hours. No violation. The incident was documented.

A caller in the 300 block of West Washington Street in Washington reported Wednesday afternoon that a subject was throwing meat or an animal carcass in the alley. Officers spoke with the subject, who picked up the carcass. The subject also voiced concerns about the caller’s dog coming onto his property. Officers spoke with the caller. The problems should be resolved.
Hang-up 911 calls
Dispatch reported Wednesday afternoon receiving a 911 call from the 3300 block of 190th Street in Columbus Junction and were unable to get any information due to a bad connections. Officers responded.
A suspicious vehicle was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 500 block of North D Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. The vehicle was legally parked.
A caller in the 400 block of West Fifth Street in Washington reported Thursday morning being woken up by someone trying to get into his garage. Officers were unable to locate anyone. No damage to property.
