Benjamin Philip Asbury, 27, of Washington, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 3100 block of 130th Street in Riverside for failure to appear on an original charge of domestic abuse assault.
Konner Starkey Meth, 20, of Mediapolis, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 200 block of South D Avenue in Washington on a Burlington warrant for four counts of burglary and two counts of theft.
A caller in the 2600 block of Highway 1 in Washington reported Wednesday morning seeing a vehicle run another vehicle off the roadway. Officers responded. Both vehicles had attempted to pass a vehicle at the same time, causing one to leave the roadway. The incident was documented.
A cement truck and a car were reportedly in an accident Wednesday morning in the 27000 block of 220th Street in Columbus Junction. The cement truck rolled onto its side. The driver of the car was trapped in her vehicle. Both subjects were complaining of pain. The vehicles were off the roadway. Officers, Ainsworth Fire, Ainsworth QRS, Washington County Ambulance, Louisa County Sheriff’s deputies, and the Iowa State Patrol responded. One subject was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Wednesday morning in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue in Wellman. Officers, Iowa State Patrol, Washington County Ambulance, Wellman Rescue and Wellman QRS responded. No transport.
A parking complaint was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 1500 block of North Second Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. The tires were chalked.
The back tire of a vehicle was reported stolen Wednesday morning in the 400 block of East Van Buren Street in Washington. Officers responded. The incident is under investigation.
A caller in the 1100 block of Seventh Avenue in Wellman reported Wednesday morning that a disturbing letter was placed on her vehicle during the night. Officers were advised. The letter was an edited version of a letter sent out by the city. The incident was documented.
A subject reported Wednesday evening in the 400 block of East Harrison Street in Washington that he heard someone make threats about another person’s well being. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 1000 block of Eighth Avenue in Wellman reported Wednesday night that several people were on her property throwing things around and there was a loud boom and a sign was left in her yard. Officers responded.
A subject in the 200 block of A Avenue in Kalona was reportedly looking through things in his neighbor’s yard. Officers spoke with the caller.
A loose dog was reported Wednesday morning in the 400 block of East Second Street in Washington. Officers responded.
A bat was reported inside of a residence in the 500 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington. Officers responded.

A girl’s bicycle was reported Wednesday morning on the KeWash Trail in Washington. Officers were unable to locate.
Family offense non violent
A caller in the 800 block of West Madison Street in Washington reported Wednesday evening that her niece attacked her and her son. Officers responded. A report will be field and turned over to the county attorney.
An elementary-aged subject was reported walking alone Wednesday afternoon in the 1600 block of Highway 92 in Wellman. Officers were unable to locate.
