Kevin Lee Schnoebelien, 53, of Riverside, was arrested Thursday evening in the 100 block of E Avenue in Kalona for operating while intoxicated, open container and speeding.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Thursday afternoon at North Fourth and East 11th Street in Washington. Two injuries were reported. Officers, Washington Rescue, Washington Fire, and Washington County Ambulance responded. One patient was transported to Washington County Hospital.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Friday morning in the 1300 block of Highway 1 in Kalona. Officers were advised. The incident was documented.
A trailer was reported parked at West Buchanan Street and South E Avenue in Washington Thursday morning and the caller was concerned it may cause an accident. Officers spoke with the owner.
Subjects were reported Thursday afternoon in the 200 block of South D Avenue in Washington burning something other than yard waste. Officers responded. It was just yard waste.

Someone reportedly took two flowerpots from a yard in the 700 block of 11th Street in Wellman and place them in the neighbor’s yard Thursday morning. Officers spoke with the caller.
A bike was reportedly taken from a residence in the 500 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington Thursday afternoon. The incident was documented.
A vehicle was reported scratched Thursday morning in the 100 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington. The incident was documented.
A hole was reported in the front of a residence in the 500 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington Thursday afternoon and a BB was inside the hole. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 2200 block of Ginkgo Avenue in Keota reported Thursday evening that her mother, who lives in North Carolina, was harassing her. The incident was documented.
An officer was requested Thursday morning in the 100 block of South B Avenue in Washington in reference to individuals trespassing on his property. The incident was documented.
A dog was reported bothering subjects in the 300 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington Thursday afternoon and was chasing a subject on a bike. Officers and the dogcatcher were unable to locate.
A caller reported Thursday evening that a dog had chased him on the KeWash Trail in Washington. Officers were advised. The incident was documented.
A bat was reported in a business in the 100 block of East Washington Street in Washington Thursday evening. Officers responded and removed the bat.

A bike was reported sitting next to the caller’s garage in the 1100 block of North Sixth Avenue in Washington Thursday afternoon that did not belong to anyone at the residence. Officers responded. It was taken to the bike shed.
A third grader was reportedly supposed to be picked up in the 600 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington Thursday afternoon and he did not show up. Officers located the subject. The incident was documented.
Family offense non violent
A violation of a no-contact order was reported Thursday morning in the 700 block of East 15th Street in Washington. The incident is under investigation.
Suspicious items were reported located Thursday evening at B Avenue and Third Street in Kalona. Officers responded.
A caller in the 2800 block of 220th Street in Ainsworth reported Thursday night that a subject had been sending her text messages advising that the was going to have the horses she was supposed to pick up in the morning hidden. Officers responded.

A juvenile was reportedly out of control Thursday afternoon in the 100 block of East Second Street in Washington. Officers responded. The issue was resolved.
