Robert Allen Perry, 32, of Washington, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 1600 block of North Highland Avenue in Washington for an existing charge of public intoxication. Bond was revoked and the subject was ordered back to jail.
Tamra Jased Schrock, 33, of Washington, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington for probation violation on fourth-degree theft.
A caller in the 900 block of West Second Street in Kalona reported Wednesday morning smelling smoke and the smoke detectors were going off. Kalona Fire and Kalona QRS responded.
All other thefts
A caller in the 500 block of Washington Street in Ainsworth reported Wednesday morning that a credit card was stolen and the caller had a suspect. Officers spoke with the caller. A report will be filed.
A subject in the 600 block of East Second Street in Washington reportedly would not leave the residence Wednesday afternoon. Officers responded. No problem.
A subject in the 1500 block of Riverside Road in Riverside reportedly had an animal in her house that was possibly illegal. State Environmental Health will follow up and let the county know how to proceed. The incident was documented.
A dog and a cat that are not being taken care of were reported Wednesday afternoon in the 700 block of West Monroe Street in Washington. Officers responded and will follow up with the people responsible for care while the caller is out.
All other offenses
A resident was reported staying in an apartment in the 800 block of West Monroe Street in Washington Wednesday afternoon who was not on the lease and not allowed to be there. There were also two dogs in the apartment. Officers spoke with all parties. The subject was out in 30 minutes.
Family offense non violent
Two subjects were reported screaming Wednesday morning in the 900 block of East Second Street in Washington. Officers responded. One subject left the residence. Verbal only.
Three subjects were reported lighting fires Wednesday afternoon in the 1700 block of Highway 1 in Washington. Officers located the subjects and spoke with their mother. The problem was resolved.
