William Joseph Hiller, 40, of Washington, was arrested Thursday morning in the 800 block of North Eighth Avenue in Washington on Henry County charges of domestic assault.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Wednesday morning in the 3400 block of Highway 92 in Columbus Junction. Ainsworth QRS, Ainsworth Fire, officers, Washington County Ambulance, and the Iowa State Patrol responded. One subject was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. The vehicles were towed.
A deer reportedly ran into the driver’s side door of a vehicle at 320th and Wayland Road in Wayland Wednesday evening. Wayland QRS, Wayland Fire, Washington County Ambulance and officers responded.
Several subjects were reported driving around on the roadways on dirt bikes Wednesday afternoon in the 1300 block of Nutmeg Avenue in Kalona. Officers were unable to locate.
A vehicle was reported in the 200 block of South D Avenue in Washington Wednesday evening with no license plates and it had been sitting there for several days. Officers responded.
A caller in the 300 block of West Main Street in Washington reported Wednesday afternoon that a subject had verbally and physically abused him. Officers spoke with all parties. No assault occurred.
A possible scam was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 300 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington. Officers responded and took possession of a check for $4,650 issued to a bank customer claiming he had won the USA Mega Draw Sweepstakes.
A possible identity theft was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 400 block of East Second Street in Washington. The incident was documented.

A caller in the 400 block of East Van Buren Street in Washington reported catching two subjects going through her vehicle Thursday morning. They left quickly in an older vehicle. Officers attempted to locate. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 3300 block of Wayland Road in Wayland reported receiving multiple prank phone calls Wednesday evening. Officers attempted to contact the subjects. The incident was documented.
A subject reportedly dumped a tire and gas can in the 1000 block of West Monroe Street in Washington Wednesday afternoon. Officers responded. A citation will be issued.
Subjects in the 200 block of North Harrison Street in Brighton were reported revving their engine Wednesday night. Officers spoke with the subjects.
Six cars with several people making a lot of noise were reported Wednesday night in the 1000 block of East Van Buren Street in Washington. Officers were unable to locate.
Several subjects were reported being loud Thursday morning in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers responded.

A caller in the 1900 block of 180th Street in Wellman reported Wednesday morning that she and her kids were out for a walk and a crop duster sprayed very close tot hem. Officers advised the caller to report it to the Department of Agriculture.
A subject was reported shooting squirrels Wednesday morning in the 1000 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington and reportedly nearly hit the caller’s daughter. Officers spoke with the subject and advised him of the ordinance against shooting.
A cell phone was reported lost Wednesday afternoon in the 500 block of South 11th Avenue in Washington.
Possible suspicious activity was reported Wednesday morning in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington. The incident is under investigation.
A caller reported his friend had witnessed a subject behind his van Wednesday afternoon at Highways 1 and 92 in Washington and there were pry marks on the door. No entry was gained and nothing was taken. The incident was documented.
A subject was reported walking around Thursday morning in the 300 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington. It was a paper delivery person. No problem.
A caller in the 200 block of West Washington Street in Washington reported Wednesday evening having a civil dispute over ATV tires and rims. Officers spoke with all parties. It was a civil dispute.
