Kelsey Renee Moser, 22, of Mediapolis, was arrested Thursday night in the 3000 block of Highway 92 in driving under suspension, speeding – 67 in a 35, and no insurance.
Bryttany Latia Harrill, 16, of Washington, was charged Friday morning in the 300 block of North Fourth Avenue in Washington with interference with official acts and disorderly conduct.
A caller reported backing into another vehicle in the 1000 block of West Monroe Street in Washington Thursday evening. Officers responded. Information was exchanged.
A vehicle reportedly hit two deer Thursday evening in the 2700 block of Wayland road in Washington. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A caller reported Thursday night hitting a parked car at East 15th Street and North highland Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. Brooke Swan of Washington was cited for failure to maintain control.
Traffic stop serious
A curfew citation was issued Friday morning to Haley McElree 15, of Washington, in the 300 block of North Fourth Avenue in Washington.
A caller requested Thursday evening that a vehicle be towed from Highway 218 and 240th Street in Ainsworth due to overtime parking. The vehicle was towed.
A truck and trailer with no plates was reported parked partially on the roadway Thursday afternoon at Second Street and 10th Avenue in Wellman. The caller said that he had called for a tow service to move it, but no one responded. Officers responded and advised the truck was unloading a front end loader to do work and that it was not obstructing traffic. A verbal warning was later given for improper parking.
A vehicle was reported parked in the roadway Thursday night in the 70 block of West First Street in Riverside. Officers were unable to locate.
Fireworks were reported going off Thursday evening in the 100 block of South Sixth Street in Kalona. Officers spoke with the subjects who were done for the evening.
Family offense non violent
An officer was requested Friday morning in the 20 block of Parkside Estates Road in Washington due to a verbal argument the subject was having with his wife, who was intoxicated. Officers responded. Verbal only.
Possible suspicious activity was reported Thursday morning in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington. Someone was possibly camping out on a neighboring property. Officers responded and spoke with the property owner’s son and another subject. No reason to believe they shouldn’t be there.
A vehicle was reported Thursday afternoon at West Van Buren Street and South B Avenue with a subject in it who appeared to be passed out. Officers spoke with the subject. He was napping.
A suspicious subject was reported Thursday afternoon at 190th Street and Birch Avenue in Keota. Officers responded.
A welfare check was requested Thursday night on a subject in the 900 block of Prospect Place in Washington. Officers responded. Washington County Ambulance responded but was disregarded. Dead on arrival. Medical examiner and Jones Eden responded.
A welfare check was requested Friday morning in the 1200 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington. A lifeline was reported pushed. Officers responded. The lifeline was reset. Everything was fine.
