Rhonda Lee Russo, 44, of Nichols, was arrested Monday evening in the 200 block of East First Street in Riverside for OWI.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Monday morning in the 3000 block of Highway 1 in Brighton. Damage was reported to the hood and grill. The incident was documented.

Smoke was reported pouring out of a thermostat Monday afternoon in the 500 block of 13th Street in Wellman. No flames were reported, but residents were moved out of the hall. Wellman Fire and Washington County Ambulance responded. A bad thermostat was located. An electrician was sent out.

Maria D. Montanez, 57, of Ainsworth, was cited Monday afternoon in the 500 block of South Highway 1 in Washington for fifth-degree theft.

A bike was reported stolen Monday morning in the 100 block of West Seventh Street in Washington. The incident was documented.
A watch, cigarette lighter and wallet were reported missing from a trailer in the 1000 block of Second Street in Wellman. Officers spoke with the caller. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 1700 block of 315th Street in Brighton reported Monday afternoon that her mother refused to leave her residence and was threatening her boyfriend. Officers responded. The subject left prior to officers’ arrival.
A caller in the 200 block of West Railroad Street in Brighton reported Monday afternoon that his 16-year-old daughter had run away from home and had been gone for a week. Officers responded. The subject was entered as missing.
A suspicious truck was reported Monday afternoon at a residence in the 500 block of South D Avenue in Washington. Officers responded and spoke with someone refinishing woodworking. No problem.
