Eric Matt Miller, 20, of Ainsworth, was arrested Wednesday evening in the 4500 block of Melrose Avenue in Iowa City on a Washington County warrant for possession of alcohol under the legal age.
Derrick Deontae Fulton, 23, of Kalona, was arrested Wednesday night in the 700 block of 13th Street in Kalona on a Johnson County warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
Taylor Austin Stout, 18, of Keota, was arrested Wednesday night in the 200 block of East Washington Street in Washington on a warrant for failure to appear for trial on driving under suspension.
A semi reportedly got stuck under the bridge Wednesday morning in the 2100 block of 250th Street in Washington.
A one-vehicle accident with injuries and a trap was reported Wednesday morning in the 3000 block of Wayland Road in Washington. Washington Fire Department, Washington Rescue, officers, and Washington County Ambulance responded. Anthony Wilson Delay was cited for failure to maintain control.
A caller in the 300 block of Railroad Street in Ainsworth reported Wednesday night that his son’s girlfriend hit a parked vehicle. Information was exchanged. Officers responded.
A school bus stop arm violation was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington. A car passed the bus on the left side. Red lights were flashing and the arm was extended. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 300 block of North C Avenue in Washington reported Wednesday afternoon the roadway was blocked to a business. Construction equipment was tearing down a building. The equipment was moved so traffic could get through. Proper barricades will be placed.
A caller in the 500 block of Ninth Avenue in Wellman reported Thursday morning being able to see and smell smoke in the residence. No flames were visible. Wellman Fire Department responded. No fire was located.
Two loose pitbulls were reported Wednesday evening in the 200 block of East Second Street in Washington. The dogs were inside on officers’ arrival.
Loud Christmas music was reported coming from speakers at Greene Street and Highway 22 in Riverside. Officers contacted the mayor.
