A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Tuesday morning in the 2600 block of Highway 22 in Riverside. A deer tag was requested. Officers responded.
A vehicle reportedly struck a deer Tuesday afternoon in the 2000 block of Ginkgo Avenue in West Chester. The car was not drivable. Officers responded. The vehicle was towed.
A caller reported hitting a deer Tuesday afternoon at Highway 1 and 290th in Washington. The vehicle was not drivable. Iowa State Patrol responded and will handle the accident report.
A caller reported Tuesday night following a possibly impaired driver northbound into Washington on Highway 1. The vehicle had been all over the roadway at various speeds. Officers located the vehicle in the 200 block of North D Avenue in Washington. Tired driver. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 400 block of East Main Street in Washington reported Tuesday evening being gone for about an hour and when she returned someone had been in her residence. Officers responded. A driver’s license and Social Security card were inside a purse that was taken. A report will be filed.

Scrap copper was reported stolen Tuesday morning in the 1100 block of East Seventh Street in Washington. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 700 block of East Second Street in Washington reported Tuesday evening receiving a threatening phone call from a co-worker. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 300 block of West 18th Street in Washington reported Tuesday night that her ex-husband’s brother-in-law kept calling her daughter’s phone and she was requesting the calls stop. Officers spoke with both parties.
A caller in the 400 block of Ella Street in Riverside reported Wednesday morning that her husband was having a hard time controlling his anger and was destroying their property. Officers responded. The problem was resolved.
A subject reported hitting a deer in the 1000 block of Ginkgo Avenue in Wellman and requested a tag. Officers responded. A tag was issued.
Loud music was reported Tuesday night coming from a residence in the 500 block of North C Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. No music on arrival.
All other offenses
A caller at Highway 1 and 310th Street in Brighton requested Tuesday night a deputy issued her a deer tag for a dead deer. Officers responded. A deer tag was issued.
A welfare check was requested Tuesday night in the 400 block of South Mechanic Street in Brighton for a subject who did not show up for work. Officers responded and were unable to locate the subject. The caller will call back if they get further information.
