A vehicle was reported sitting along the roadway in the 1300 block of Highway 92 in Keota Tuesday evening. The driver advised that he went into the ditch and through a field, causing damage to the vehicle. Officers responded and spoke with the driver. Dispatch had received two prior complaints about the manner in which the subject was driving erratically. The driver was not intoxicated.
The Washington Fire Department was requested Tuesday afternoon in the 1100 block of East Washington Street in Washington for a possible carbon monoxide leak. Washington Fire Department responded. A leak was detected. The house was aired out and the leak was fixed.
All other thefts
An IPod Touch was reported stolen from a bag Tuesday morning in the 1100 block of South B Avenue in Washington. The incident was documented.
A gas drive-off in the amount of $20 was reported Tuesday afternoon in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers located the vehicle. The driver will return and pay. The incident was documented.
A purse was reported missing Tuesday evening in the 500 block of South Highway 1 in Washington. The incident is under investigation.
A caller in the 700 block of North B Avenue in Washington reported Tuesday evening receiving harassing text messages. Officers attempted to contact the subject, but the number was not in service. Officers responded to the residence and advised the subject to have no further contact with the caller.
A caller in the 800 block of South D Avenue in Washington reported Tuesday morning that there was a lot behind her house with horses and one of them had gotten into her yard. Officers responded.
A caller in the 1200 block of Gum Avenue in Wellman reported Tuesday morning her neighbor’s horses were out and had been in her yard. The incident was documented.
A subject at W47 and 300th Street in Washington requested a deer tag Tuesday afternoon for a deer that had been struck. A deer tag was issued.

A new registrant for the sex offender registry was reported Tuesday afternoon in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington. The incident was documented.
Family offense non violent
A welfare check was requested Tuesday afternoon on a residence in the 1600 block of North Sixth Avenue in Washington for potential vandalism. Officers responded and smelled no gas or other dangerous odor. The incident was documented.
A subject dressed all in black was reported Tuesday night in the 200 block of East Main Street in Crawfordsville. Officers were unable to locate.
