Aristonico J. Rodriguez III, 32, of Agency, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 300 block of West Second Street in Ottumwa on a warrant for failure to appear for show cause on an original charge of domestic abuse/assault.
A hit-and-run accident was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 200 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington. Amber Lynn Lomaneck of Washington was cited for striking an unattended vehicle. Information was exchanged.
A vehicle was reported Thursday morning on Highway 218 at milepost 59 in Crawfordsville that had either broken down or hit a deer. The caller was concerned for the occupants in the cold weather. Officers located the vehicle. No one was around.
Vandalism was reported to Christmas lights in the 600 block of West Madison Street in Washington Wednesday morning. The incident was documented.
A possible violation of a no-contact order was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 600 block of West Adams Street in Washington. Officers contacted the county attorney who advised the order was a civil order and the complainant needs to contact her private attorney for further options.
A small white dog was reported Wednesday morning at South Fourth Avenue and East Main Street in Washington. Officers responded and spoke with the owner. Dispatch received another call of the dog being back in the street. Officers were unable to locate.
A dog was reported tied in a yard in the 600 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington and possibly not being taken care of. Officers attempted to locate the owner. The dog had shelter and two food bowls.
Loud music was reported coming from a business in the 10 block of West First Street in Riverside Wednesday morning. Officers responded. The music was turned down on arrival. The owner was made aware of the complaint.

On officer reported Wednesday morning being out with the Department of Human Services in the 3000 block of 230th Street in Ainsworth Wednesday morning to check a residence. The incident was documented.
A boom truck was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 200 block of South Marion Avenue in Washington with an ibeam hanging off the boom over a sidewalk without the proper barricading. Officers responded. Some fencing was up. Information was forwarded to the Washington building official.
A caller in the 600 block of E Avenue in Kalona reported Wednesday afternoon an ex co-worker offered a photo shoot and would pay the caller. Officers spoke with the ex co-worker, who was advised not to have contact with the caller. The incident was documented.
