John Carroll Hornburg, 72, of Washington, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 600 block of East Polk Street in Washington for failure to appear for initial appearance on public intoxication.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Friday afternoon at Angle Road and 540th in Kalona. Kalona Fire/Rescue, QRS responded.

A caller in the 1000 block of Second Street in Wellman reported Friday evening seeing subject in a vehicle vandalize several mailboxes. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
A caller in the 200 block of East Fifth Street in Washington reported Sunday afternoon that her son’s antenna was bent and that it appeared as if someone took a baseball bat to the sides of his car.
A vehicle was reported chasing deer at G36 and Nutmeg in Washington Saturday morning and the driver was pointing a gun out the window. Officers located the truck and spoke with three subjects. Three guns were cased, unloaded and locked in the back seat. The subjects were made aware of the complaint and reminded of the laws.
Hunters were reported trespassing in the caller’s timber in the 3300 block of Highway 218 in Crawfordsville. Officers responded. A suspected was given a verbal warning.
Two bucks reportedly locked horns Saturday morning in the 1800 block of Underwood Avenue in Ainsworth Saturday morning. One was deceased and the other was too weak to walk. Officers responded. A deer tag was issued.
A caller in the 3300 block of Highway 92 in Ainsworth reported Saturday afternoon finding a deer that had been hit and requested a deer tag. Officers responded. A deer tag was issued. Another officer reported being out with the subject who struck the deer. Over $2,000 damage was reported. The subject was making towing arrangements.
A dog in the 700 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington reportedly had been kept outside in the elements during the cold Saturday evening. Officers spoke with the resident and advised the resident to take the dog inside because the dog had no bedding.
A barking dog was reported Sunday afternoon in the 1900 block of Highway 92 in Washington. Officers left a message for the owner.

A caller in the 600 block of West Adams Street in Washington reported Friday night that the staff was threatening to unplug her phone. No problem. The client had a problem with a staff member.
A subject in the 100 block of Tyler Street in Washington was transported to the safety center to wait for a ride. The subject had reportedly been following the caller’s daughter from West Chester to Washington.
Family offense non violent
A verbal dispute was reported Friday night in the 700 block of West Second Street in Washington. Officers responded. The parties calmed down.
A caller in the 600 block of West Second Street in Washington reported Sunday afternoon her husband was on her property and he was not supposed to be there. An officer was requested to speak with him.
Three vehicles were reported stopped at the end of a driveway to a hog confinement Sunday morning in the 2500 block of 260th Street in Washington. Officers were unable to locate.
A 16-year-old subject was reported missing from a residence in the 700 block of West Second Street in Washington. The subject was located and returned to the residence.

A caller in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington reported dialed 911 Saturday morning and was disconnected. Officers responded. The owner of the phone said it was accidental.
