A two-vehicle accident was reported Wednesday morning in the 3100 block of Highway 92 in Ainsworth. Officers, Ainsworth QRS, Ainsworth Fire Department and Washington County Ambulance responded. George Lord of Ainsworth was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign Over $1,500 damage was reported.
A buggy was reported on its side Wednesday afternoon at Highway 22 and Paradise Lane in Kalona. Officers responded. The incident was documented.

A sex offender was reported registered Wednesday afternoon in the 100 block of West Fountain Street in Brighton.
A caller in the 3300 block of Old White Way reported Wednesday afternoon getting non-stop calls from a subject in Washington who claims to be with and investigation firm and wanted to make her aware of numerous house burglaries in the Washington area. Officers spoke with the other party, who advised she was trying to contact someone else. She was advised to hang up if this continued.
A caller in the 100 block of West Fourth Street in Riverside reported Wednesday afternoon that someone put a camper next to a vacant doublewide trailer and were living out of it. There was no electricity or water to the camper. No one was at the trailer. The incident was documented. Officers stopped back later. There was a night-light on but no one would answer the door.
