Chris Michael Kopet, 22, Iowa City, was arrested Tuesday morning in the 700 block of North C Avenue in Washington for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Charges were filed Feb. 9 on Jamesha Joanna Stringer, 15, of Brighton for serious assault.
Charges were filed Feb. 9 on Lanieca Dashing Smith, 17, of Washington for fifth degree theft.
A caller reported Monday afternoon being rear-ended in the 3200 block of Highway 22 in Riverside. Iowa State Patrol responded and will handle the report.
A caller in the 900 block of West Main Street in Washington reported Monday evening that his son struck a tree with his vehicle. Officers responded. Austin Michael Weller, 19, of Washington, was cited for failure to maintain control.
A red truck with no plates was reported parked in the 800 block of South Third Avenue in Washington Monday morning. Officers responded.
A possible sexual assault was reported Monday afternoon in Washington County. A report will be filed.
Sexual child abuse
A possible case of sexual child abuse was reported Monday afternoon in the 1000 block of Fifth Street in Wellman. The incident is under investigation.
All other thefts
A gas drive-off in the amount of $100 was reported Monday afternoon in the 700 block of Sixth Street in Wellman. The incident was documented.
A subject in the 300 block of West Washington Boulevard in Washington was reported damaging the property. Officers spoke with the subject and the landlord. The incident was documented.
A student was reported causing problems Monday morning in the 300 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. The student calmed down.
A caller reported Monday evening that a dog bit her in the 200 block of A Avenue in Kalona. Officers spoke with the caller. The dog did not break the skin and didn’t bite. The dog was just aggressive toward the caller. The incident was documented.
All other offenses
Electronic equipment was reported Monday morning in the 300 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. A computer tower was located.
A caller in the 800 block of Fourth Street in Kalona reported Monday afternoon receiving a call from a subject offering to sell her air filters and does a demonstration. The caller later advised they were in her driveway. Officers were unable to locate.
A welfare check was requested Monday afternoon on a subject at North Avenue B and West Fifth Street in Washington who didn’t show up for an appointment Monday afternoon. Officers located the subject. Charges are pending.

An officer was requested Monday afternoon in the 600 block of West Adams Street in Washington in reference to a situation the caller is having with another subject in the apartment complex. The incident was documented.
