William Ralph Chapek, 62, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday evening at Highway 1 and 140th Street in Kalona for OWI.
Two dump trucks were reported driving at a high rate of speed Tuesday evening in the 1000 block of Dogwood Avenue in Wellman. Officers were unable to locate.
A possible domestic altercation was reported Wednesday morning in the 900 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. Subjects were reported arguing while walking and no assault had occurred.
All other thefts
Tools were reported stolen from a job site in the 2600 block of Kiwi Avenue in Washington Tuesday morning. Officers responded.
A caller in the 1600 block of Highway 1 in Washington reported Tuesday afternoon that someone had stolen a miter saw. The incident is under investigation.
A student in the 100 block of Westview Drive in Washington reportedly threatened to hurt another students Tuesday afternoon. Officers responded. The incident is under investigation.
A caller in the 100 block of East Second Street in Washington reported Tuesday afternoon receiving several harassing text messages from a former employee. Officers called the other party and got a voicemail. The incident was documented.
Harassment was reported Tuesday evening in the 300 block of West Washington Boulevard in Washington. Officers spoke with all parties. The issue was resolved.
A caller in the 300 block of East Madison Street in Brighton reported Tuesday evening he was threatened in October 2012 and he wanted to report it. Officers were advised. A report will be filed.
A raccoon was reported caught in a trap at Ginkgo Avenue and 140th Street in Wellman Tuesday morning and trapping season had ended Jan. 31. DNR was contacted. The incident was documented.
A deer tag was requested Tuesday afternoon in the 1700 block of Highway 92 in West Chester for a deer that got hung up in a fence during the night. Officers responded. A deer tag was issued.

An officer was requested Tuesday afternoon in the 200 block of McCreedy Drive in Washington in reference to some items that were missing.
