Schyular James Phillips, 37, of Grandview, was arrested Thursday evening in the 500 block of North Main Street in Burlington on a Washington County warrant for probation violation on driving while barred.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Thursday morning in the 1100 block of Ginkgo Avenue in Wellman. No injuries were reported. Officers responded. The vehicle was drivable.
A caller reported Thursday afternoon seeing a vehicle on the shoulder of the roadway that had hit a deer Thursday afternoon in the 3200 block of Highway 218 in Crawfordsville. No one was around. The caller requested a deer tag. A deer tag was issued.
A vehicle reportedly hit a pole Thursday evening at South Iowa Avenue and Sitler Drive in Washington. Officers advised no injuries. Alliant was contacted. The vehicle was towed. Randy Williams of Washington was cited for failure to maintain control. Over $1,500 damage was reported.
A vehicle reportedly went into the ditch in the 2100 block of Highway 22 in Kalona Thursday morning. A subject was located and counseled on his driving. The operator shoveled away the snow and was able to get out of the ditch.
A vehicle was reported travelling at a high rate of speed Thursday morning at Highway 22 and Juniper in Wellman, almost running two vehicles into the ditch. While on the phone, the vehicle went into a ditch. The vehicle was able to get out before officers arrived and left at a high rate of speed.
A caller in the 400 block of South Harrison Street in Brighton reported Thursday afternoon being assaulted. The incident is under investigation.
A caller reported Thursday afternoon being in the 700 block of South Marion Avenue in Washington regarding an assault that was previously reported on Jan. 7. Taylor Unternahrer was cited for making a false report.

A gas drive-off in the amount of $15.81 was reported Thursday morning in the 300 block of West Madison Street in Washington.
A possibly intoxicated subject was reported walking westbound at South Ninth Avenue and East Washington Street in Washington Thursday evening. Officers were unable to locate.
A welfare check was requested Friday morning on a dog in the 700 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington that was outside in an old truck topper with no bedding. Officers responded. The dog looked healthy. No one would come to the door.
A caller in the 300 block of East Main Street in Washington reported Thursday morning that his neighbor left suspicious items at his doorstep. Officers responded. It was an issue that needs to be resolved by the landlord. Officers attempted to contact.
A caller reported Thursday night that a car had been at a stop sign at Eighth Avenue and Seventh Street in Wellman for five minutes or more. Officers located the vehicle. The subjects advised they had been at a friend’s house to assist with a bat in the residence and left the car running. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 700 block of North B Avenue in Washington requested to speak with an officer Thursday morning in reference to an issue he was having with a rental property. Officers spoke with the caller regarding his options.
