A truck that looked as if it had been involved in an accident was reported Monday morning in the 2900 block of Dogwood Avenue in Brighton. The truck had been in a field drive and had a broken axle. The vehicle was towed. Officers left a message for the owner.
A fire alarm was reported going off at a business in the 70 block of West First Street in Riverside. Riverside Fire responded. No fire. The phone company was working on the lines.
Michael Cody Gesling, 25, of Washington, and Allison May Flake, 22, of Washington, were cited Monday afternoon in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington for fifth-degree theft.
A subject was reported out of control Monday afternoon in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers responded.
A dog was reported tied outside in the 1300 block of North Second Avenue in Washington Monday morning with no shelter. Officers responded. The dog was inside on officers’ arrival.

A natural gas smell was reported Monday afternoon in the 900 block of West Main Street in Washington. Washington Fire Department was notified. Alliant responded.
A deputy was requested Monday afternoon in the 2700 block of Sockum Ridge Road in Washington in reference to a possible violation of a no-contact order. The incident was documented. The caller was advised to forward the information to his divorce attorney.
Loud music was reported Tuesday morning in the 500 block of North C Avenue in Washington. Officers responded and spoke with two subjects.
Family offense non violent
A verbal argument was reported Monday morning in the 200 block of East 15th Street in Washington. Officers responded. The subjects were advised to keep
