Michael Earle Ruenger, 60, of Kansas City, Ks., was cited Tuesday afternoon in the 100 block of Sitler Drive in Washington for open container and going the wrong way in a one way.
A barn fire was reported Tuesday morning in the 3200 block of Coppock Road in Wayland. Wayland Fire and Washington Fire responded. The fire was extinguished.
A caller in the 300 block of West Washington Boulevard in Washington reported being assaulted Tuesday afternoon. The incident is under investigation.
All other thefts
A caller in the 3300 block of 190th Street in Columbus Junction reported Tuesday morning that he had some steel piled up and it was gone. Officers spoke with the caller. The incident was documented.
A deputy was requested Tuesday morning in the 200 block of South Main Street in Crawfordsville in reference to bullying. The caller had talked with the school several times and nothing was being done. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 200 block of West Main Street in Washington reported Tuesday afternoon a subject was \harassing her. Officers attempted to contact the subject.
Loud music was reported Tuesday morning in the 500 block of North C Avenue in Washington. Officers were unable to locate.
A strong chemical odor was reported Wednesday morning in the 100 block of Fifth Street in Kalona. Officers were unable to locate.
All other offenses
An out-of-control subject was reported Wednesday morning in the 100 block of West Second Street in Washington. Officers responded.
A suspicious vehicle was reported sitting in the 1600 block of North Second Avenue in Washington Tuesday morning. The vehicle was gone on officers’ arrival.
Two subjects were reported Tuesday afternoon in the 1900 block of East Washington Street in Washington acting suspicious. The incident was documented.
A welfare check was requested Tuesday morning on a subject in the 300 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington who appeared to be sleeping in his car. The caller reported it was only 11 degrees. Officers responded. The subject advised he was fine.
