Eli Nathaniel Hanson, 22, of Kalona, was arrested Thursday night in the 500 block of Fifth Street in Kalona on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Patricia Lee Quintanilla, 45, of Washington, was arrested Friday morning in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington for possession of a controlled substance and driving under suspension.
Ryan Dean Steinberg, 22, of Washington, was arrested Friday morning in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington on a Mahaska County warrant for probation violation on an original charge of prohibited acts manufacturing, delivery, conspiracy or possession of marijuana.
A vehicle reportedly backed into another vehicle Thursday afternoon in the 100 block of East Jefferson Street in Washington. Under $1,500 damage was reported. Information was exchanged.
A traffic accident was reported Thursday evening in the 1400 block of Highways 1 and 78 in Brighton. No injuries were reported. One vehicle was reported in a ditch. Officers responded.
A vehicle reportedly went into a ditch Thursday evening at Highway 218 and 290th Street in Crawfordsville. Under $1,500 damage was reported. The vehicle was pulled out of the ditch.
Crawfordsville Fire reported Thursday evening being en route to Highway 218 and 105ht Street in Crawfordsville to assist Wayland Fire with an accident. Crawfordsville Fire was told to disregard at the scene.
Brighton Fire was paged out Thursday afternoon to a carbon monoxide tester at a residence in the 1000 block of Pine Avenue in Brighton that wouldn’t shut off. A utility worker also responded.

A caller in the 100 block of First Street in Kalona reported a possible scam Thursday evening. The caller said someone claiming to be from Mid-American Energy was demanding payment. The caller advised not having service through Mid-American Energy. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue in Wellman reported Thursday afternoon that a subject was harassing her daughter via text messages. The daughter was in Louisa County. The incident was documented.

A deputy was requested Thursday afternoon in the 200 block of Franklin Street in West Chester regarding issues between the caller and another subject. Officers spoke with all parties and advised them to leave each other alone.

A possible violation of a no-contact order was reported Thursday afternoon in the 2700 block of Havre Lane in Washington. Officers responded. Unfounded.
