William Lyle Morgan, 25, of Washington, was arrested Friday morning in the 900 block of South 11th Avenue in Washington for serious assault/domestic.
Brian Laschke, 31, of Iowa City, was arrested Friday evening in the 4500 block of Melrose Avenue in Iowa City on a Washington County warrant for fifth-degree theft, third-degree burglary and criminal mischief.
Breanna Morgan Silva, 28, of Muscatine, was arrested Saturday morning at Ginkgo and Highway 22 in Wellman for operating while intoxicated and cited for speeding.
Leonard Eugene Fleig, 26, of Fairfield, was arrested Saturday morning in the 300 block of South Second Avenue in Washington for operating while intoxicated.
Aaron Ray Jellison, 21, of Hiawatha, was arrested Sunday morning at South B Avenue and Madison in Washington for OWI. Zachary Tripplett, 15, of Washington, was cited at the same time and location for possession of alcohol under the legal age.
Collin Lee Miller, 20, of Wellman, was arrested Sunday morning at First Avenue and 13th Street in Wellman for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Diego Andrade, 21, of Washington, was arrested Sunday afternoon in the 2200 block of 250th Street in Washington for driving under suspension x13.
A vehicle reportedly went into the ditch Saturday morning at Highway 218 and 150th Street in Riverside. Riverside QRS, Riverside Fire, Washington County Ambulance and officers responded.
A turkey reportedly went through the windshield of a vehicle at Highway 218 and 320th Street in Crawfordsville. The caller reported he was bleeding and possibly had glass in his eyes. Officers, Washington County Ambulance, Washington Rescue, Crawfordsville Fire and Crawfordsville QRS responded. One subject was transported to Washington County Hospital. The vehicle was towed.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Sunday afternoon at Highway 218 and 170th Street in Ainsworth. The vehicle was not drivable. Officers responded.
Traffic stop serious
Victor Elliot Frederick III, 33, of Riverside, was cited Friday night at Highway 22 and 14th Street in Kalona for driving under suspension.
Lauro Sanchez, 21, of Mt. Pleasant, was cited Saturday afternoon at Highways 92 and 218 in Ainsworth for driving under suspension.
A school bus violation was reported Friday afternoon at Highway 22 and East Street in Riverside. The incident is under investigation.
A stop arm violation was reported Friday afternoon in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers were advised. The incident is under investigation. A second stop arm violation was reported at the same location.
An erratic driver was reported Sunday morning in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue in Wellman. Officers spoke with the driver.
A car was reported stuck Sunday afternoon at Redwood Avenue and 230th Street in Washington. Officers responded.
A large fire was reported Saturday morning in the 1300 block of 192nd Place in Keota. Keota Fire, Keota QRS and officers responded. It was a controlled burn.
Officers reported Saturday morning seizing items from a vehicle at Redwood Avenue and Highway 92 in Washington. Items were sent to the DCI lab for results. Charges are pending for possession of a controlled substance.
A deputy was requested Sunday evening in the 3100 block of Highway 22 in Riverside for a subject possibly trying to cash a stolen check. Officers responded. Unfounded.
All other thefts
Someone reportedly took the expiration sticker off a vehicle in the 300 block of 10th Avenue in Wellman. The incident was documented.
A gas drive-off in the amount of $30.01 was reported in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington Saturday morning. Officers responded to the residence. A subject will take care of the issue.
A caller in the 2600 block of Wayland Road in Washington reported Friday morning that a subject was harassing him. The subject was advised if she continued to cause a disturbance she would go to jail.
Six juveniles were reported Friday afternoon at Main and Harrison streets in Brighton throwing ice chunks and verbally harassing the caller’s son. Officers spoke with the juveniles and their parents. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 2600 block of Wayland Road in Washington reported Saturday evening a subject was harassing him via phone. Officers spoke with the caller, who was advised to shut off his phone for the night.
A caller in the 100 block of West Second Street in Washington reported Sunday evening that a customer had become disorderly over a purchase and displaced a knife toward the caller. Officers responded and were unable to locate the subject. The incident is under investigation.
All other offenses
An officer reported Friday night being out in the 400 block of South Third Avenue in Washington with an abandoned bicycle. It was transported to the bike shed.
Family offense non violent
A caller in the 1700 block of 335th Street in Brighton reported Saturday morning his guns weren’t at his residence and were taken by his son. Officers spoke with all family members. The son has possession of the guns at his mother’s request. It was a civil matter.
A caller in the 1500 block of North Fourth Avenue in Washington reported Friday night not being able to get ahold of their son. The subject was entered into the system.
A welfare check was requested Saturday evening in the 300 block of A Place in Kalona. Officers responded.
A welfare check was requested Monday morning on a subject in the 800 block of South Third Avenue in Washington who didn’t check in with his mother at a designated time. Officers responded.
A caller in the 3300 block of Redwood Avenue in Wayland requested documentation Friday afternoon of a scam phone call. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 400 block of East Van Buren Street in Washington reported Saturday night that a subject ran through her back yard. Officers located a juvenile who cut through her yard. No problem.
Hang-up 911 calls
A 911 call open line with static was reported Monday morning in the 1800 block of 250th Street in Washington. Officers spoke with the residents. The phone line was cut due to construction.
