A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported Tuesday morning in the 3100 block of Highway 22 in Riverside. Officers arrived and were advised it was a hit and run. Over $1,500 damage was reported. Officers were unable to find the other vehicle in the parking lot. Officers are checking casino video.
A hit and run accident was reported Tuesday night in the 70 block of Greene Street in Riverside. Officers were advised.
Police and fire were requested Tuesday afternoon in the 700 block of North B Avenue in Washington for a carbon monoxide leak. Officers and the Washington Fire Department responded.
A caller in the 300 block of 10th Avenue in Wellman reported Tuesday evening that they hadn’t felt well Tuesday and bought a carbon monoxide detector. It went off when they plugged it in. Wellman Fire, Washington County Rescue and Wellman QRS responded. The residence didn’t test positive for carbon monoxide and the residents did not need medical attention.
All other thefts
A gas drive off in the amount of $35 was reported Tuesday evening in the 100 block of First Street in Kalona. Officers were unable to locate.
A barking dog was reported Tuesday night in the 1900 block of Highway 92 in Washington. Officers responded and spoke with the owner.
