Thomas Lee Blakley, 78, of Ainsworth, was arrested Monday afternoon in Ainsworth for second-degree sexual abuse.
A fire alarm was reported Monday night in the 100 block of South Marion Avenue in Washington. Officers and Washington Fire Department responded. No fire was located.
A possible case of dependent adult abuse was reported Monday morning in the City of Washington. The incident is under investigation.
Motor vehicle thefts
A caller in the 100 block of Eighth Avenue in Wellman reported Monday night that a subject took her vehicle without permission. He was en route to Iowa City. Officers responded and spoke with the caller, who was uncooperative. The incident was documented.
All other thefts
A caller in the 300 block of Saint Mary’s Street in Riverside reported Monday morning that there was a dispute over property taken by his previous roommate. The caller located the property and asked officers to respond. Officers assisted in helping retrieve the property.
A truck was reported keyed Monday evening in the 500 block of West Second Street in Washington. The incident was documented.
A caller reported Monday afternoon she was being followed around the City of Washington. The caller stopped at the safety center. Officers spoke with the caller.
A deer was reported stuck in a fence in the 3200 block of 150th Street in Riverside. Officers responded.
A barking dog was reported Monday night in the 700 block of South Eighth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded.
Loud music was reported Monday night in the 100 block of South Sixth Street5 in Kalona. Officers were unable to locate.
Family offense non violent
A verbal altercation was reported Monday afternoon in the 100 block of West Washington Street in Washington. Officers responded.
A caller in the 60 block of North Greene Street in Riverside reported Monday night a possible threat from another subject who was at the Riverside City Council meeting. Officers spoke with the caller. The incident was documented.
