Bryan Jay Grimes, 40, of Brighton, was arrested Monday afternoon at Birch and Highway 22 in Wellman for driving under suspension.
Kenneth Lee Meyerholz, 50, of Columbus Junction, was arrested Monday night in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington for failure to appear for mittimus on an original charge of violation of pseudoephedrine restrictions.
An officer was requested Monday afternoon in the 1100 block of South B Avenue in Washington to reports of someone striking a parked car. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Monday evening at Angle Road south of 500th Street in Kalona. Kalona QRS and Kalona Fire responded. No transport.
Motor vehicle theft
A stolen vehicle check was requested on a U-Haul in the 1700 block of East Washington Street in Washington Monday morning. The vehicle was stolen out of San Francisco, Calif. The corporate office was contacted and arrangements were made for the vehicle.
All other thefts
A gas drive-off in the amount of $39.17 was reported Monday evening in the 300 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle. The incident was documented.
A caller reported Monday morning being harassed in the 200 block of A Place in Kalona. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 1700 block of 140th Street in Wellman reported Monday evening receiving threatening messages from her ex-boyfriend. Officers responded. Extra patrol was given.
A caller in the 100 block of West Washington Street in Washington reported Monday night that her 17-year-old son was out of control. Officers responded. The issue was resolved.
A barking dog was reported Monday evening in the 600 block of Park Street in Ainsworth. Officers responded. A verbal warning was given.
Family offense non violent
A caller in the 300 block of East Sycamore Street in Riverside reported Monday night that her 13-year-old grandson was being very controlling and saying things that made her uncomfortable. Officers spoke with both parties.
A caller in the 500 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington reported Monday afternoon his son didn’t come home from school. Officers responded. The juvenile was located.
