Seth Michael Copeland, 20, of Burlington, was arrested Thursday morning in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington for aggravated assault.

A purse was reported stolen Thursday night in the 500 block of West Jefferson Street in Washington. The purse contained over $100, a debit card, driver’s license, iPod Touch and a movie. The incident was documented.
Officers were requested Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of East Polk Street for a subject who had been brought in earlier and was not being cooperative. Officers responded.
A pit bull was reported loose Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of Lincoln Street in Ainsworth and the caller reported it had growled at her. Marvin Davis of Ainsworth was cited for allowing a dog to run at large.
