A caller in the 1100 block of Kola Avenue in Kalona attempted to drive his tractor through the water and it was in the ditch. The tractor did not tip over, but the subject was not able to get off the tractor. Kalona Fire and Washington County Ambulance responded. The subject was safely assisted from the water.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Tuesday morning at Highway 22 and Enterprise Drive in Riverside. Officers were advised.
A vehicle was reported left in a parking lot in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington Monday morning. Officers responded. The vehicle was towed.
A truck in the 700 block of West Madison Street in Washington was reported damaged Monday morning. The back window was broken out. Officers responded. Possibly weather related. The incident was documented.
A vehicle at A Avenue and Fifth Street in Kalona was reportedly filling up with water Monday afternoon. Officers were advised.
Lightning reportedly struck a building in the 500 block of B Avenue in Kalona. Kalona Fire Department responded.
A fire alarm was reported Monday evening in the 1600 block of Highway 22 in Wellman. Wellman Fire, Washington County Rescue and officers responded. There was an issue with the alarm system.
Power lines were reported sparking in the trees Monday night in the 3000 block of Peaceful Drive in Riverside. Riverside Fire Department and Alliant Energy responded.
Smoke was reported coming from a business in the 200 block of North Railroad Street in Ainsworth. Officers, Washington County Ambulance and Ainsworth Fire Department responded.
A fire alarm was reported Tuesday morning in the 600 block of East Polk Street in Washington. Washington Fire Department responded. No fire was located.
A subject was reported assaulting another subject in the ditch area of the 400 block of North Benton Street in Brighton Monday afternoon. Officers responded. The parties were separated.
Two subjects were reported in an apartment in the 600 block of West Adams Street in Washington Monday evening and they were not supposed to be on the property. Officers spoke with the subjects and the staff. The subjects were only staying temporarily and the staff was advised of this.
A caller in the 300 block of North C Avenue in Washington reported Monday morning a neighbor’s dog was fighting with his dog. Officers responded and spoke with the owners. Verbal warnings were given about the vicious dog ordinance.
A dog was reported locked in a car in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington Monday morning and it had possibly been there all weekend. Officers responded. The dog appeared to be fine.
Subjects were reported being loud Saturday morning in the 400 block of Fifth Street in Ainsworth. Officers were unable to locate.
A party with loud music was reported Saturday evening in the 400 block of East Jefferson Street in Washington. Officers responded.
Subjects were reported Sunday morning in the 600 block of North D Avenue in Washington yelling at each other. Officers were unable to locate.
A caller in the 3100 block of Highway 92 in Ainsworth reported Monday night that the subject in the semi next to him had music on too loud. Officers responded. The subject was watching a movie and turned the TV down.

A gas drive-off in the amount of $75.75 was reported Friday morning in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers contacted the owner, who made contact with the store to arrange payment.
A caller in the 900 block of South 10th Avenue in Washington reported Friday afternoon that someone was calling from a number and hanging up as soon as the caller picked up. On calling back, they don’t say anything. Officers spoke with the other subject. No problems with the phone. Possibly someone using the suspect’s phone number via the Internet.
Clothing and a purse were reported thrown around in a yard in the 100 block of North Railroad Street in Ainsworth. Officers responded.
An item was reported located Sunday afternoon in the 100 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers took possession and will return it to the owner.
An officer was requested Sunday afternoon in the 2200 block of 250th Street in Washington in reference to an issue regarding the caller’s children at their father’s residence.
Tristen Joseph Fisher, 24, of Wellman, was cited Sunday night in the 1300 block of Elm Avenue in Wellman for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Kaleb Stevens Martin, 18, of Wellman, was cited at the same time and location for possession of alcohol under 21. Trent Lowden Fisher, 16, of Wellman, was cited at the same time and location for consumption of alcohol by a minor.
A caller in the 500 block of North C Avenue in Washington reported Tuesday morning smelling smoke. Officers responded. No fire.
Family offense non violent
A caller in the 2700 block of Highway 1 in Washington reported Friday morning that her husband had left the residence the previous day after making suicidal threats. Officers spoke with the caller. The subject was entered as missing.
A caller in the 600 block of South C Avenue in Washington reported Friday night that he had a no-contact order and the subject had posted something on his Facebook page. Officers responded. The number given for the subject was not good. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 1000 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington reported Saturday morning that her daughter came home after curfew and was confrontational. She left on foot. Officers located the subject. A written warning was given.
Two subjects were reported Sunday morning in a possible domestic dispute. Officers spoke with the subjects.
A possible violation of a no-contact order was reported Sunday afternoon in the 600 block of South C Avenue in Washington. The incident was documented.
A subject was reported sleeping in a vehicle at 290th Street and Larch Avenue in Washington Sunday morning.
Officers were requested Friday afternoon in the 1100 block of Second Street in Wellman to check on a missing subject. The subject was located and transported to Johnson County. The subject is also wanted out of Linn County.
A caller in the 1000 block of Ninth Avenue in Wellman reported Saturday night her 15-year-old daughter didn’t return home from work. Officers responded. The subject returned home prior to deputies’ arrival.
A caller in the 1000 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington reported Sunday morning his daughter left the residence earlier and had not returned. The caller later reported the subject was at her aunt’s.
A caller that had been reported missing contacted the communications center Monday afternoon and reported he was fine. Officers spoke with the caller.
A welfare check was requested Friday afternoon in the 700 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington. The subject was located. No problem.
A young girl was reported Friday evening in the 3100 block of Highway 92 in Ainsworth with her family and she had bruises on her. Officers spoke with the family. She had a medical condition. No abuse.
