Corey Alan Barcus, 24, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday afternoon at North D Avenue and West Second Street in Washington for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kenneth Dale Sommerfeld, 51, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 100 block of Fifth Street in Wellman for violation of a no-contact order.
Maurice Jones, 46, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday evening at South Iowa Avenue and East Jefferson Street in Washington for public intoxication.
Christopher Quillen, 38, of Brighton, was arrested Wednesday morning at Spruce and 245th in Ainsworth on a Kossuth County warrant for non-payment of child support.
A caller reported Tuesday morning that a red semi and trailer sideswiped their vehicle on Highway 218 in Ainsworth. Officers were advised. The incident was documented.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Tuesday night on the east edge of Brighton on Highways 1 and 78. Officers were advised. The incident was documented.
Several cars were reported parked illegally Tuesday evening in the 500 block of South E Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. Three citations were issued.
A caller in the 400 block of East Second Street in Washington reported forgery on her bank account Tuesday afternoon. The incident is under investigation.
A subject reportedly left a business in the 500 block of South Highway 1 in Washington without paying for a cart full of groceries. Officers responded.
A vehicle was reported keyed Tuesday morning in the 200 block of A Avenue in Kalona. Officers responded. Unfounded. It was older damage from another vehicle.
Subjects were reported trying to vandalize a school in the 600 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington Tuesday afternoon. Officers responded and advised a large group to leave the property.
A case of illegal dumping was reported Tuesday afternoon in the 1000 block of West Monroe Street in Washington. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A dog was reported locked in a vehicle in the 100 block of South Marion Avenue in Washington Tuesday afternoon. Officers responded.

A caller in the 800 block of West Monroe Street in Washington reported Tuesday morning misplacing his license plates. Officers were advised.
Family offense non violent
A caller in the 400 block of Ella Street in Riverside reported Wednesday morning her father was out of control. He had shut off the air conditioning and was tearing things up in her bedroom. Officers responded. The situation was resolved. Officers were requested again later for the same issue.
An officer was requested Tuesday afternoon in the 500 block of South Third Avenue in Washington in reference to the caller’s neighbors calling him. There were several subjects on his porch and walking around his property. Officers were unable to locate anyone.
