A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Monday night at Highway 1 and 290th in Washington. The vehicle was not drivable. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
Two vehicles were reported parked in the 100 block of South Marion Avenue in Washington Monday evening and the occupants were possibly smoking marijuana. Officers responded. The vehicles were gone on arrival.
A caller in the 1400 block of West Fifth Street in Washington reported Monday afternoon her 57-year-old daughter was assaulted on a mini bus. Officers spoke with all parties and advised them to have no further contact.
Two juveniles were reported swearing and throwing things at the Y Daycare kids Monday afternoon in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers responded. The subjects were counseled and released to their parents.
Assistance was requested Tuesday morning in the 600 block of East Polk Street in Washington for a subject threatening staff and others. Officers responded. The subject was taken to Washington County Hospital for evaluation.
A caller reported Monday morning that a small dog had tried to bite her in the 400 block of East Van Buren Street in Washington. Officers responded. Brian Tepezano was cited for allowing a dog to run at large.
A caller reported Monday morning two dogs were loose in the 600 block of North B Avenue in Washington. Officers advised the owner of the complaint.
A horse was reported out Monday night in the 2600 block of Wayland Road in Washington. Officers responded. The horse was returned.
A dog reportedly got into a fight with another dog Tuesday morning in the 200 block of East 13th Street in Washington. Two people were injured trying to separate them. The other subject called with her information. The incident is under investigation.
Fireworks were reported Monday night in the 100 block of Kleopfer Avenue in Riverside. Officers were unable to locate.
Subjects were reported Tuesday morning at West Jefferson Street and South G Avenue in Washington with a bunch of dogs and kids yelling at the dogs. Officers responded. The subjects had gone in for the night.
A caller in the 700 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington reported Monday afternoon having difficulties with her 19-year-old son and requested assistance. Officers responded. The subject stated he was suicidal and left the residence. Officers were unable to locate. The mother later reported that she had spoken with the subject, who had calmed down and was fine.
A subject was reported wandering around the caller’s yard in the 300 block of East Seventh Street in Washington Monday afternoon picking flowers and getting into things. The subject was given a ride back to his residence. No problem.
