Zachary William Rarick, 29, of Washington, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 300 block of North Fourth Avenue in Washington for failure to appear for show cause on a charge of criminal mischief.
Daniel Mark Tallman, 29, of North Liberty, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 3100 block of Highway 22 in Riverside for probation violation on a charge of OWI.
A caller in the 300 block of East Main Street in Washington reported Wednesday afternoon that a vehicle was sideswiped sometime during the night. There was damage to the driver’s side. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A caller reported Wednesday evening that his vehicle was backed into today in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers responded. The subject is going to look through video surveillance to try to find information on the suspect vehicle.
A possibly intoxicated couple reportedly left the 3100 block of Highway 22 in Riverside in a vehicle. Officers stopped the vehicle at Highways 22 and 218. The driver had a PBT of .024. They were going for food.
All other thefts
A caller in the 200 block of North Second Avenue in Washington reported Wednesday evening that his Xbox was stolen about a month ago and the person that possibly took it was with him. Officers responded. The suspect denied taking the Xbox. The incident was documented.
A subject was reportedly told he was banned from the pool in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington and began making threats toward the lifeguard and the pool manager. Officers responded. The subject was advised he is banned for the rest of the summer and will be charged with trespass if he returns.
A caller in the 400 block of North Ella Street in Riverside reported Wednesday night that a subject from What Cheer kept calling and texting her. Officers spoke with both subjects.
A small brown dog was reported running loose Wednesday morning in the 800 block of North Eighth Avenue in Washington. Officers spoke with the owner.
A dog was reported stuck in a hole in the 3300 block of 190th Street in Columbus Junction Wednesday afternoon and the caller was not able to get him out. Riverside Fire Department responded. The dog was rescued.
A welfare check was requested Wednesday afternoon on a dog in the 500 block of South Seventh Avenue in Washington. Officers responded.
Several horses were reported out Wednesday evening in the 2800 block of 220th Street in Ainsworth. Officers responded. The horses were put back in the pen.
Someone was reported banging on the outside door of an apartment Thursday morning in the 300 block of East Madison Street in Washington. Officers responded. The subject was trying to get into an apartment.
A subject was reported missing Wednesday night in the 800 block of C Avenue in Washington. Officers located the subject. Juvenile probation was notified.
