Zachary William Rarick, 30, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 700 block of East Main Street in Washington for probation violation on prohibited acts.
Tren Anthony Vikel, 43, of Iowa City, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington on a warrant for probation revocation on an original charge of OWI.
Frankie Melissa Fulford, 38, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday evening in the 500 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington for probation violation on prohibited acts.
A vehicle accident was reported Tuesday morning at 275th Street and Coppock Road in Washington. The caller reported swerving to miss a dog and going into the ditch. Officers responded. The vehicle was towed.
Traffic stop serious
Michael John Fritz, 26, of Keota, was cited Tuesday morning in the 2100 block of 170th Street in Washington for driving under suspension.
Henry Adelzo Alegria-Ventura, 28, of Ottumwa, was cited Tuesday afternoon at Railroad Street and highway 92 in West Chester for driving under suspension.
A caller reported Tuesday morning that a subject driving a white SUV came close to hitting her and her husband in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington as they rode their bikes. Officers located the driver. The driver was counseled.
A subject was reported Wednesday morning at Highway 218 and 310th Street in Crawfordsville trying to flag down cars. Officers responded. No one was around.
A bike was reported stolen Tuesday morning in the 300 block of West Main Street in Washington.
All other thefts
A caller reported Tuesday morning losing her purse in the 1200 block of East Washington Street in Washington. The purse was entered into the system.
A vehicle occupied by several juveniles was reported egging neighborhood vehicles at South Third Avenue and East Monroe Street in Washington. Officers were unable to locate.
An officer was requested Tuesday morning in the 900 block of South 10th Avenue in Washington in reference to a letter the caller had received. Officers responded. The letter was sent from California and the caller did not know the person who sent it. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 900 block of South 10th Avenue in Washington requested a phone trap Tuesday afternoon due to an ongoing problem of hang-up calls.
Subjects were reported swimming in a storm pond Tuesday evening in the 700 block of West Third Street in Kalona. Officers spoke with the subjects.
A welfare check was requested on three dogs in the 1600 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington. A maintenance employee witnessed them fighting.
A husky was reported tied out in the 300 block of East Madison Street in Washington all day, a caller reported Tuesday afternoon. The dog appeared to be thin and did have food and water.
A dog bite was reported Tuesday afternoon in the 400 block of West Main Street in Washington.
Barking dogs were reported Tuesday night in the 3100 block of Whispering Ridge Lane in Riverside. Officers responded. The dogs were not barking and no one came to the door. The neighboring dogs were barking.

A caller in the 1000 block of Second Street in Wellman reported Tuesday afternoon a subject walked into her house without permission.
A caller in the 1000 block of Poplar Drive in Riverside reported Tuesday afternoon losing his new phone. It hadn’t been activated yet and he wanted to know if it could be traced by GPS. Officers spoke with the caller.
A suspicious vehicle was reported parked in the 3100 block of 250th Street in Ainsworth. Officers responded. No problem.
A caller in the 2400 block of Robbins Court in Washington reported Wednesday morning hearing subjects in her back yard. Officers were unable to locate anyone.
A small child was reported Tuesday morning in the 700 block of South B Avenue in Washington alone and the landlord requested an officer. Officers responded. The babysitter was there, but sleeping. No problem.
