Eric Joseph Ryan, 24, of Washington, was arrested Monday morning in the 1000 block of East Washington Street in Washington for probation violation on first-degree theft.
Donald James Boileau, 31, of Washington, was arrested Monday afternoon in the 100 block of West Washington Street in Washington for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
Chad Richer Wagg, 34, of Columbus Junction, was arrested Tuesday morning at Palm and 250th Street in Washington for failure to appear for show cause on a no insurance ticket.
Construction equipment was reported stolen Monday morning in the 2900 block of Highway 92 in Ainsworth. Officers responded. The caller reported $3,000 worth of tools and $1,000 worth of wire was taken. The incident is under investigation.
A breaking and entering was reported Monday morning in the 2900 block of Highway 92 in Ainsworth. Officers responded. Two bank bags containing about $500 cash and business checks were taken. The incident is under investigation.
A house in the 100 block of East Main Street in Brighton was reported broken into Monday afternoon. Officers responded.
A caller in the 100 block of Fairview Drive in Wellman reported Monday morning a scam stemming from an item he had for sale on Craig’s List. A subject wanted to buy the caller’s $200 tow hitch and sent a check for $3,200, requesting the remainder be put into a private account. The caller didn’t give out any personal information. The incident was documented.
All other thefts
A theft was reported Monday afternoon at a store in the 1400 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers were advised there were insufficient funds for a check written to the store for $1,024.33. A ten-day notice had been given and the bill wasn’t settled.
A caller in the 200 block of North Chestnut Street in Crawfordsville reported Monday morning that her 16-year-old son was receiving texts from a subject he did not wish to communicate with. Officers spoke with all parties involved.
A subject was reported Monday night in the 300 block of East Main Street in Washington causing problems. Officers attempted to locate the subject.
All other offenses
A domestic situation was reported Monday night in the 600 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded and were unable to locate anyone or get anyone to answer at the residence.
Family offense non violent
A caller in the 2300 block of 150th Street in Kalona requested assistance Monday afternoon with an out-of-control child. Officers responded.
A welfare check was requested Monday evening on a subject in the 300 block of South Benton Street in Brighton. Officers responded. Everything was fine.
