Charles Albert Miller Jr., 40, of Brighton, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 300 block of West Washington Street in Brighton for possession of a controlled substance marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were also filed for distribution to a person under the age of 18 a Schedule 4 controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell Schedule 4.
Jose Luis Gil, 34, of Ainsworth, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 600 block of Park Street in Ainsworth for serious domestic assault.
Devin Troy Weimer, 20, of Brighton, was arrested Wednesday evening in the 3000 block of Dogwood Avenue in Brighton for possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture, possession of a controlled substance marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of alcohol under the legal age.
Chance Alante Miller, 19, of Wellman, was arrested Wednesday evening in the 1400 block of Ivy Avenue in Wellman for possessing contraband and possession of a controlled substance.
Krista Kay Crossett, 36, of Wayland, was arrested Wednesday evening in the 100 block of North Davis Street in Keota for criminal mischief and obstruction of emergency communications.
Mariana Gil, 30, of Ainsworth, was arrested Wednesday night in the 600 block of Park Street in Ainsworth for interference with official acts.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Wednesday night in the 1100 block of Highway 218 in Riverside. Officers were advised. The incident was documented.
A jeep was reported stuck on a level B road in the 2400 block of 200th Street in Washington. Officers spoke with the registered owner and served a trespass order for driving on a level B road.
A vehicle with no plates was reported parked in the 400 block of West Jefferson Street in Washington Wednesday afternoon and had been there for three weeks. Officers chalked the tires.
A vehicle was reported in an alley in the 500 block of North D Avenue in Washington Wednesday night that had its hazards on for a long time. Officers responded and assisted.
A carbon monoxide detector was reported going off Wednesday night in the 1000 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington. Washington Fire Department and officers responded. It was an issue with the power outage.
A juvenile reportedly pushed another juvenile down Wednesday afternoon in the 1300 block of E Avenue in Kalona. Officers, Kalona QRS and Washington County Ambulance responded. Information will be forwarded to the county attorney for possible charges.
Someone reportedly stole a cell phone charger out of an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of North Benton Street in Brighton Wednesday night. The incident was documented.
Motor vehicle thefts
A caller in the 300 block of East Harrison Street in Washington reported Wednesday morning that someone had stolen their Suburban but it ran out of gas and they found it on the four lanes. Officers responded. Three other vehicles had also been gone through. The incident was documented.

A gas drive-off in the amount of $58.50 was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers attempted to locate.
A gas drive-off in the amount of $66.87 was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers were advised.
A caller in the 1600 block of North Highland Avenue in Washington reported Wednesday evening that his previous boss sold tools that belonged to the caller. The incident is under investigation.
A caller in the 300 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington reported a maintenance worker had degraded him. Officers spoke with all parties.
A caller in the 400 block of East Main Street in Brighton reported Wednesday evening subjects were harassing her son. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A bat was reported in an apartment in the 300 block of East Second Street in Washington Wednesday morning. Officers were unable to locate.
A loose pit bull was reported at West Washington Street and South Marion Avenue in Washington Wednesday morning. Officers responded. The dog was being loaded into a vehicle.
Subjects in a vehicle that had been involved in suspicious activity were reported in the 2400 block of Palm Avenue in Washington Saturday morning. Officers responded and counseled the subjects.
A van reportedly pulled out from behind some hog buildings and ran the caller’s daughter off the roadway Saturday night in the 1800 block of Orange Avenue in Washington. Officers were unable to locate.
A caller in the 600 block of South Second Avenue in Washington reported Saturday night that her 16-year-old brother did not come home and would not answer his cell. The juvenile was located and returned home.
An emergency key press was reported Saturday afternoon from an Onstar device in the 2500 block of Highway 92 in Washington. Officers responded. Kids had been playing with buttons in the car.
A caller reported Saturday afternoon that a subject was walking along Highway 218 in Crawfordsville. She was in a semi truck with her husband and child. They got into an argument and the husband pulled her out. Contact was made with the husband who was in Canton, Mo. He will pick his wife up at a weigh station.
A young boy was reported sitting in the 400 block of West Main Street in Washington Sunday night. Officers were unable to locate.
A welfare check was requested Monday afternoon on a subject in the 200 block of A Avenue in Kalona who was a possible victim of elder abuse. Officers responded. It was a civil issue over monetary distribution. Officers will follow up with the home health nurse. The subject appeared in great health.
A welfare check was requested Tuesday morning on a subject in the 400 block of Pleasantview Circle in Kalona. Officers spoke with the subject.
A caller in the 700 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington reported Monday afternoon that the landlord was trying to evict the caller without proper paperwork or notice. Officers spoke with all parties. The landlord wanted to start painting and the renter agreed.
