John Edward Walling, 35, of Washington, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 400 block of East Washington Street in Washington for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Hellen Olivia Pauley, 20, of Washington, was arrested Wednesday afternoon at Monroe and G Avenue in Washington for driving under suspension, operating a non-registered vehicle and no insurance.
Robert Lee Love Jr. 33, of Waterloo, was arrested Wednesday afternoon at Highway 218 and 192nd Street in Ainsworth for failure to appear for probation revocation on possession of marijuana.
Elliott Earl Milam, 32, of Cedar Rapids, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 3100 block of Highway 22 in Riverside for absence from custody.
Ryan Austin Derby, 26, of Richland, was arrested Wednesday evening in the 900 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington for fourth degree criminal mischief.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Wednesday afternoon at Highway 1 and Johnson/Washington Road in Kalona. Officers, Washington County Ambulance, Kalona Fire and Kalona QRS responded. Alan Ray Zook of West Chester was cited for failure to stop at a safe and assured distance.
A parked car in the 400 block of A Avenue in Kalona looked as if it had been hit by another vehicle, a caller reported Thursday morning. A bumper with a license plate was lying in the street. Officers responded. A message was left for the owner of the car to call in.
A vehicle was reported squealing its tires Wednesday evening in the 600 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington. The driver was counseled.
A truck fire was reported Wednesday morning in the 300 block of East Main Street in Washington. Washington Fire Department and officers responded. The fire was extinguished.
A possible case of sexual assault was reported Wednesday afternoon in the City of Washington. The incident is under investigation.
A caller in the 100 block of South Sixth Street in Kalona reported Wednesday afternoon seeing two subjects near her trailer. She believed dogs inside scared them off. She said that she caught them running out of a lot that looked as if they tore it apart looking for something. Officers responded and spoke with the parents.
All other thefts
A caller in the 2500 block of 305th Street in Washington reported Wednesday afternoon he tried to obtain service through Dish Network and was told his Social Security Number was already being used to acquire service. The incident was documented. The subject was advised to contact the Federal Trade Commission.
A deputy was requested Wednesday afternoon in the 1400 block of 315th Street in Brighton in reference to the caller receiving harassing texts from her ex-husband in Ohio threatening to come take her 15-year-old son. It was a civil issue involving custody.
A caller in the 400 block of North Ella Street in Riverside reported Wednesday afternoon a subject would not stop calling him. Officers spoke with the subject.
Family offense non violent
A caller in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington reported Wednesday morning his father had violated a no-contact order. Officers spoke with all parties. The incident was unfounded.
