Amy Marie Scarff, 34, of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested Wednesday evening at 12th and East Main in Washington on a warrant for failure to appear on contempt – refusal/failure to pay fine.
Tad Everett Zwer, 21, of Brighton, was arrested Wednesday night in the 300 block of West Fountain Street in Brighton for possession of a firearm as a felon.
A search warrant was reported executed Wednesday afternoon in the 100 block of West Third Street in Riverside. Officers responded.
An accident was reported Wednesday morning at West Washington Boulevard and North C Avenue in Washington. The vehicles were towed. Maximo Gomez Aguilar of Washington was cited for no driver’s license and failure to obey a stop sign.
Kalona Fire and Kalona First Responders were requested Wednesday night at Derby Avenue and 500th in Iowa City for a traffic accident.

A caller in the 300 block of East Main Street in Washington reported Wednesday afternoon that someone took her bank statement and vehicle insurance papers from her locked filing cabinet. The incident was documented.
An antique hand auger was reported stolen Wednesday afternoon from a tool shed in the 2100 block of West Main Street in Washington. The incident was documented.
A wallet was reported missing from a residence in the 100 block of South Sixth Street in Kalona Wednesday night. The incident was documented.
A gas drive-off in the amount of $37.13 was reported Wednesday evening in the 700 block of Sixth Street in Wellman. Officers were advised.
A caller reported Wednesday afternoon that a house they had listed in the 800 block of Fourth Street in Wellman had been vandalized since Sunday afternoon. The south window had two BB gun holes shot in it and the key lock box was broken off. No entry was gained. The incident was documented.

A car was reported parked illegally Wednesday evening in the 200 block of A Avenue in Kalona. Officers spoke with the caller.
Family offense non violent
A caller in the 300 block of West Washington Street in Brighton reported Wednesday afternoon that his 15-year-old son was on the property and he was not allowed to be there. He was also making threats. Officers responded. The parties were separated.
A welfare check was requested Wednesday morning on a child in the 100 block of Westview Drive in Washington who was possibly alone in one of the rooms. Officers responded and contacted the parent, who had overslept.
A welfare check was requested Wednesday afternoon on a subject in the 100 block of North Taylor Street in Brighton who had failed to contact the caller. Officers responded.
A 7-year-old girl was reported in the 100 block of Westview Drive in Washington and the caller reported the mother would not let the girl into the motel room. Officers responded and made entry to the room for a welfare check after receiving no response. Everything was fine.
A welfare check was requested Thursday morning on a driver for the caller’s company. The tracking device on the vehicle showed that the driver was in the 3100 block of Highway 92 in Ainsworth and should have been en route to Chicago hours earlier. Officers contacted the subject.
