Cameron Lee McCallister, 23, of Marion, was arrested Monday night in the 1400 block of Highway 218 in Riverside for OWI.
A vehicle reportedly struck another vehicle in a parking lot in the 800 block of East 15th Street in Washington and left the scene. Officers responded. Under $1,500 damage was reported. Information was exchanged.
A car was reported parked in a crosswalk in the 100 block of West Washington Street in Washington Monday morning. Officers attempted to locate the owner.
Smoke was reported coming from a building in the 300 block of East Fifth Street in Washington. The caller believed there was nothing inside and no electricity or gas was hooked up. Washington Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.
A fire alarm was reported Monday afternoon coming from the basement kitchen of a building in the 100 block of South Marion Avenue in Washington. The alarm company called to disregard the alarm.
Riverside Fire Department was requested Tuesday morning for mutual aid in the 100 block of East Main Street in Hills at the Animal Haven Vet Clinic. Riverside Fire responded. The fire was extinguished.
A caller in the 1800 block of 140th Street in Wellman reported Monday night he and his roommate got into a fight and they both needed medical attention. Officers, Wellman QRS and Washington County Ambulance responded. One patient was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. The other patient was transported to Mercy of Iowa City.
Charges of disorderly conduct were filed Monday morning in the 300 block of South Fourth Avenue on: Madison M. Tuggle, 11, of Brighton; and Jessica Jo Buban, 14, of Brighton.
Two horses were reported tied to a tree Monday afternoon in the 2300 block of Spruce Avenue in Washington. The caller requested a welfare check. Officers responded.
All other offenses
A caller in the 1900 block of Highway 92 in Washington reported Monday morning that loose trash was blowing into his yard from a neighboring property. The complaint was forwarded to Washington County Environmental Health. The incident was documented.
Family offense non violent
Two subjects were reported fighting Monday evening in the 600 block of North B Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. Verbal only.
A caller in the 2100 block of Palm Avenue in Washington reported Monday morning receiving a cyber tip of suspicious activity. A report will be filed.
