Abraham Junior Stoner, 56, of Washington was arrested Thursday night in the 1000 block of North Eighth Avenue in Washington on two counts of violation of a no-contact order.
Jessy Lee Armstrong, 23, of Washington was arrested Friday morning in the 700 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington on charges of domestic abuse causing bodily injury, interference with official acts and obstruction of emergency communications.
A caller Thursday evening at Highway 218 and 150th Street in Riverside reported a two-vehicle accident with possible injuries. One lane was blocked. Washington County ambulances, Riverside First Responders and Fire Department, Iowa State Patrol, Washington County officers and Johnson County ambulances all responded. AirCare was put on standby but was disregarded. A towing company responded and towed the vehicles. Ambulances transported three patients to University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. Iowa State Patrol is handling the accident.
A caller Thursday morning at North 12th Avenue and East 15th Street in Washington reported a vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign at G36 and Orange, and then tried passing twice in a no-passing zone on North 12th coming into town. An officer located the vehicle and the driver was counseled.
Mutual aid was requested Thursday afternoon in the 5400 block of 540th Street in Lone Tree for Hills and Lone Tree Fire for a structure fire near an LP tank. Needed were a tanker, engine and air tank support. Riverside Fire Department responded and assisted Hills and Lone Tree with the fire.
A caller Thursday night in the 700 block of 12th Avenue in Wellman reported having problems with a neighbor regarding their dog being off the leash and running around the neighborhood. An officer responded and spoke with both parties. Verbal warning was given to the dog's owner for allowing a dog to run at large.
A caller Friday morning at 190th Street and Fir Avenue in Keota reported a dead deer in the travel portion of the road, at the bottom of a hill. An officer responded.
An officer reported being at a vehicle stop, Friday morning at E Avenue and 10th Street in Kalona. Five juveniles were given verbal warnings for curfew.
A caller Friday morning in the 300 block of North Fourth Avenue in Washington reported a subject in a gray Suburban was playing loud music in the parking lot. An officer responded. The vehicle had left prior to the officer's arrival.
A caller Thursday morning at 170th Street and Fir Avenue in Wellman reported two places on Fir Avenue between 155th and 170th where trash had been dumped both north and south of the curve. An officer responded and located the items, although there were no identifiers. County Roads was contacted to pick up the items.
A caller Thursday night in the 600 block of West Adams Street in Washington reported she got a harassing voice mail from a male subject, and requested that an officer come and listen to the voice mail and to try to make contact with the male subject to advise him to cease contact with her. An officer responded and talked to both parties involved, and advised the male subject to cease contact with the female caller.
Motor vehicle theft
An officer Thursday afternoon in the 900 block of South 12th Avenue in Washington reported locating a vehicle that Jefferson County reported to him as stolen from the dealership in their county. A towing service responded and towed the vehicle to the dealership in Fairfield.
A caller Thursday afternoon in the 600 block of West Adams Street in Washington reported a subject was standing outside her truck screaming and would not allow her to get out. She was in a white truck. The male subject then walked away and she was able to get into her apartment before officers arrived. They were disregarded.
A caller Thursday afternoon in the 900 block of South 12th Avenue in Washington reported losing contact with his dad on the phone 20 minutes earlier and couldn't get him back on the line. He requested a welfare check. Officers and an ambulance were dispatched. The subject was not home. He was located and said he would contact his son.
All other offenses
A caller Thursday evening in the 800 block of South Avenue C in Washington reported three youngsters running around in his yard and requested an officer to speak to them. An officer responded and spoke with the juveniles, and they advised they were not on the caller's property.
