Shelby Jean Husar, 70, of Iowa City, was arrested Thursday evening in the 1000 block of Hudson Street in Iowa City on a Washington County warrant for failure to appear for mittimus on public intoxication.
Darren Duane Goodwin, 24, of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested Friday morning in the 300 block of West Washington Street in Washington for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jennifer Jean Tweedy, 38, of Washington, was arrested Friday morning in the 400 block of West Main Street in Washington for disorderly conduct and interference with official acts.
Charges were filed Wednesday on Austin Keith Kirkey, 14, of Washington, for second-degree sexual abuse.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Thursday morning in the 1600 block of Highway 22 in Wellman. There were no injuries and the vehicles were drivable. Insurance information was exchanged.
A caller reported Thursday evening that someone struck her parked vehicle in the 1100 block of South B Avenue in Washington. Officers will review video. The incident was documented.
Daymun Roger Schadt, 33, of Brighton, was cited Thursday afternoon at North Benton Street and East Fountain Street in Brighton for no valid driver’s license.
Subjects were reported driving through an alley Thursday night in the 700 block of East Washington Street in Washington honking their horn while the caller was trying to sleep. Officers were unable to locate.
A grass fire was reported Thursday afternoon in the 3100 block of Fir Avenue in Brighton.
A caller reported being assaulted Friday morning in the 500 block of East Seventh Street in Washington. Officers responded. The subject had been escorted out of the bar. A sober driver took the caller home. The caller did not wish to pursue charges.
All other thefts
A caller in the 200 block of South 14th Avenue in Washington reported Thursday evening that a subject tried to sell him stolen property. The incident was documented.
Michael Ray Steele, 15, of Fairfield, was cited Thursday morning in the 1100 block of South B Avenue in Washington for possession of tobacco under legal age and released to his grandparents.
A loose dog was reported Thursday morning at North Marion Avenue and West Seventh Street in Washington. Officers and the dogcatcher responded. They were not able to catch the dog or locate the owner.
All other offenses
A caller in the 300 block of D Avenue in Kalona reported Thursday afternoon that her ex-boyfriend was at the residence and taking items without her permission. Officers responded. The subject had left the residence. It was a civil issue.
A subject was reported Thursday night in the 300 block of West Washington Street in Washington who was threatening to harm himself and had drug paraphernalia. Officers responded. The subject was transported to the Washington County Hospital.
