A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported Monday afternoon in the 100 block of East Main Street in Washington. Under $1,500 damage was reported. Information was exchanged.
A driver was reported Monday evening in the 400 block of South Second Avenue in Washington going on and off curb and driving down the middle of two lanes. Officers spoke with the driver. The incident was documented.
Officers responded Tuesday morning being out in the 400 block of East Washington Street in Washington with a subject who fell off his bike. This is a subject that officers were doing a welfare check on. They took the subject home and he made contact with his mother.
A large fire was reported Monday night in the 1800 block of Highway 92 in West Chester that was near a residence and a barn. Washington Fire and officers responded. It was a controlled burn.
All other thefts
A gas drive off in the amount of $19.99 was reported Monday morning in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers attempted to locate the subjects.
A caller in the 100 block of East Main Street in Washington reported Monday afternoon that a 10-year-old subject had stolen another subject’s phone. The phone had been returned. Officers responded and spoke with the child.
Black spray paint vandalism was reported Monday morning to a building in the 2600 block of Wayland Road in Washington. Officers spoke with the caller and made contact with the parents of the child responsible. They will work together to get it cleaned up.
A caller in the 500 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington reported Monday morning sometime last Friday all her chickens were killed. She saw dog prints in her back yard. The incident was documented.
A pitbull was reported running loose Monday evening in the 1100 block of Second Street in Wellman. Officers responded. A written warning was given.
Hang-up 911 calls
A hang-up 911 call was reported Monday morning in the 1300 block of North Fourth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. Everything was fine. The subjects only have Internet.
A subject was reported walking around in the 300 block of Fourth Street in Wellman Tuesday morning with a flashlight. Officers were unable to locate.
A welfare check was requested Tuesday morning on a subject in the 900 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded.
