Charges were filed Sunday on Austin Lee Morrison, 17, of Washington, for operating without owner’s consent.
A vehicle was reported in a ditch in the 2300 block of 290th Street in Washington Monday morning and the caller reported that it had done damage to his property. The operator was not around. The vehicle was towed. The vehicle will be released when the tow bill is paid.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Monday morning at South Ninth Avenue and East Jefferson Street in Washington. Officers responded. Christian Thomas of Washington was cited for unsafe backing.
An accident was reported Monday afternoon at South Iowa Avenue and East Madison Street in Washington. Officers responded. Under $1,500 damage was reported. Michelle Smith of Washington was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn and failure to provide insurance.

A search warrant was reportedly executed Monday afternoon in the 400 block of E Avenue in Kalona. Officers, Iowa State Patrol and the Iowa City Department of Narcotics Investigation responded. Charges are pending per lab results.
