Michaela Catherine Delzell, 36, of Wellman, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 200 block of Fairview Drive in Wellman for domestic abuse serious.
A vehicle was reported in the ditch on Highway 218 in Riverside Tuesday morning. Riverside First Responders, Riverside Fire and Rescue, officers and Washington County Ambulance responded. Two subjects were transported to Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
A rollover accident was reported Tuesday morning at Highway 218 in Riverside. Riverside First responders, Riverside Fire and Rescue, Washington County Ambulance, and officers responded. One patient was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. The vehicle was towed.
A caller reported Tuesday morning that a truck rolled over into a ditch Tuesday morning at Highway 218 and 150th Street in Riverside. Riverside Fire and QRS were paged. Officers responded. The Iowa State Patrol handled the accident.
A silver truck was reported sitting in the ditch Tuesday morning at Yucca Avenue and Highway 92 in Ainsworth. Officers responded. The vehicle had been removed on officers’ arrival.
A caller reported Tuesday morning that she was travelling on Highway 92 in Ainsworth and a semi came out of a business in the 3100 block without stopping at the stop sign and the caller was unable to keep from hitting the cab. Officers, Iowa State patrol, Washington County Ambulance, Washington County Rescue, and Ainsworth Fire responded. Donna Josoff of Centerville was cited for failure to yield on entering a through highway. The vehicles were towed.
A vehicle was reported on its top Tuesday morning at Riverside Road and 180th Street in Riverside. No one was around the vehicle and there was blood inside and the air bags had deployed. Officers responded. The vehicle was towed. Diane M. Schuster, 40, of Washington, was cited for no driver’s license and no insurance accident related.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Tuesday afternoon in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Under $1,500 damage was reported. Information was exchanged.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Tuesday evening in the 2100 block of Vine Avenue in Ainsworth. The vehicle was drivable. Officers responded.
A caller reported Tuesday evening that his wife had hit a deer at Red oak Avenue and Highway 22 in Riverside. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington reported Tuesday morning that a subject was in the store wanting to buy a money card to send to someone who had told him he won a lottery prize. The caller believed it was a scam. Officers responded. The issue was resolved.
All other thefts
A caller in the 400 block of North Ella Street in Riverside reported Tuesday evening that a neighbor might have removed items from his apartment. The incident was documented.
A medical card, cash and a Social Security Card were reported stolen Tuesday night in the 900 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington. The incident is under investigation.
A loose dog was reported Tuesday morning in the 900 block of East Second Street in Washington. Officers were unable to locate.
A loose pit bull was reported Tuesday evening in the 600 block of North D Avenue in Washington. Officers left a message for the owner.
All other offenses
A possible violation of a no-contact order was reported Tuesday evening in the 800 block of North Sixth Avenue in Washington. Officers spoke with the caller. There was no evidence that the subject contacting the caller is the other party on the order. The incident was documented.
A welfare check was requested Tuesday afternoon on a subject in the 200 block of East Jefferson Street in Washington. Officers made contact with the subject. Everything was fine.
