Randy Vincent Rarick, 26, of Wayland, was arrested Tuesday morning in the 100 block of West Washington Street in Washington on two warrants for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
David Aden Stewart, 58, of Winterset, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 1400 block of Highway 218 in Riverside for operating while intoxicated and open container.
Candido Josue Morataya, 30, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday evening at South Sixth Avenue and East Washington Street in Washington for public intoxication. Charges are pending for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Tuesday evening just east of Wayland Road on 320th Street in Wayland. Officers were advised.
A caller in the 80 block of North Glasgow Street in Riverside reported Tuesday evening that she had sold her vehicle to two subjects and that they had stopped making payments. Officers spoke with the caller. It was a civil matter.
Smoke was reported coming out from under the hood of a truck parked at South Iowa Avenue and West Van Buren Street in Washington Tuesday evening. Officers responded.
Sexual child abuse
A possible case of sexual child abuse was reported Tuesday afternoon in the City of Washington. The incident is under investigation.
Motor vehicle thefts
A vehicle was reported stolen form a business in the 100 block of East First Street in Riverside Tuesday afternoon. The vehicle was entered into the system.
A business in the 200 block of Highway 92 in Ainsworth was reportedly broken into Tuesday morning. Officers responded. A report will be filed.
All other thefts
A car was reported broken into Tuesday morning in the 500 block of 13th Street in Wellman. Nothing appeared to be missing. The incident was documented.
A caller reported Tuesday morning that items were stolen from his truck while it was parked in the 40 block of Greene Street in Riverside. Officers spoke with the caller. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 200 block of Wiley Avenue in Washington reported Tuesday evening that someone broke out the side window of her vehicle and took a purse. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 800 block of South Third Avenue in Washington reported Tuesday afternoon that a screen on her bathroom window was torn as if someone had tried to gain entry.
A caller reported Tuesday afternoon that someone entered a vehicle that was parked in the 100 block of East First Street in Riverside overnight and ripped out the stereo. Officers responded.
A caller in the 1500 block of Highland Avenue in Washington reported Tuesday afternoon being harassed at home and at school. Officers spoke with the caller and attempted to contact the subject.
A caller in the 300 block of East Main Street in Washington reported Monday afternoon that her brother was fighting in the alley with subjects who had shown up at his apartment. Officers responded. The subjects were gone on arrival. Officers spoke with all parties.
Two barking dogs were reported Monday night in the 100 block of South Main Street in Crawfordsville. A verbal warning was given.
Two neglected dogs were reported in the 900 block of East Second Street in Washington Tuesday morning. Officers responded. The dogs had food, water and shelter and did not appear to be neglected. Officers advised the owner of the complaint.
An altercation was reported Monday night in the 500 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers responded. No altercation. The subjects were just being loud.
A subject was reported being very loud in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington Tuesday morning. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
Yelling and screaming was reported coming from an apartment in the 1600 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington Monday afternoon. Officers responded. Subjects were having a verbal argument and had separated.
A welfare check was requested Tuesday afternoon on a subject in the 100 block of South Marion Avenue in Washington. Officers made contact with the subject. No problem.
