Kenneth Dylan Whitehead, 20, of Washington, was arrested Thursday afternoon in the 100 block of North Second Avenue in Washington for capias grand theft. Palm Bay, Fla., Manatee County will extradite.
Edward Eugene Goff, 36, of Washington, was arrested Thursday evening in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington for fifth-degree theft.
An accident was reported Thursday morning at North Second Avenue and East Seventh Street in Washington. A vehicle reportedly ran a stop sign. Officers responded. Khaven Wagenknecht of Washington was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to have insurance accident related. Over $1,500 damage was reported.
A caller reported being hit by another vehicle in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington Thursday afternoon. No injuries were reported. Over $1,500 damage was reported.
A sexual registry violation was reported Thursday evening in the 100 block of West Fountain Street in Brighton. A report will be filed.
All other thefts
A sage purse, cell phone, driver’s license and IPad were reported missing Thursday afternoon in the 300 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington.
Subjects in a truck reportedly left suspicious items in the 1100 block of East Washington Street in Washington Thursday night. Officers responded.
Yelling and screaming was reported Thursday evening in the 200 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers responded. The subjects were advised of the complaint.
All other offenses
A caller in the 200 block of North Van Buren Street in Brighton reported Thursday afternoon that her daughter’s boyfriend did damage to the caller’s vehicle. A report will be filed.
An employee in the 3100 block of Highway 22 in Riverside reported Friday morning believing that someone in the business had a warrant out for his arrest. Officers responded. The subject did not have a warrant.
Family offense non violent
A caller in the 300 block of East Sycamore Street in Riverside reported Thursday morning that her 15-year-old grandson was refusing to go to a doctor’s appointment to discuss his medication. Officers spoke with the caller, who was given her options.
A caller in the 500 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington reported Thursday afternoon he had not seen or heard from his neighbor since Tuesday night. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A welfare check was requested Thursday morning on a subject in the 400 block of West Fifth Street in Washington. The subject was fine.
A welfare check was requested Thursday morning on a subject in the 1200 block of F Avenue in Kalona who hadn’t picked up his mail since December. Officers contacted the subject.
Dispatch reported Thursday afternoon being on the phone with a subject in the 500 block of North D Avenue in Washington who was very depressed. Officers responded. The subject was fine.
