Kenneth Dylan Whitehead, 19, of Washington, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 100 block of East Main Street in Washington for fifth-degree theft. Heather Hopp, 18, of Washington, was arrested at the same time and location for fifth-degree theft.
Daniel Joao Wright, 31, of Washington, was arrested Saturday morning in the 500 block of East Seventh Street in Washington for public intoxication.
Alexander Warren DeHogues, 23, of Kalona, was arrested Saturday morning in the 300 block of Sixth Street in Kalona on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Skyler Kae Winter, 21, of Wellman, was arrested Saturday evening in the 500 block of Sixth Street in Wellman for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Tyler Lloyd Hershberger, 31, of Kalona, was arrested Saturday morning in the 1400 block of J Place in Kalona for operating while intoxicated.
Jacob Ryan Guldenpfennig, 27, of Kalona, was arrested Sunday afternoon in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington for possession of a controlled substance.
Christopher Paul Townsend, 28, of Washington, was arrested Sunday evening in the 200 block of East Main Street in Washington for domestic abuse serous assault. Mindy Renee Kruse, 35, of Washington, was arrested at the same time and location for domestic abuse serious assault.
A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Friday morning at 13th Street and First Avenue in Wellman. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 200 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington reported Friday morning backing up and hitting another vehicle. Officers responded. Under $1,500 damage was reported. No report or charges were filed.
An accident was reported Saturday morning in the 1000 block of Highway 1 and 78 in Richland. Washington County Ambulance and officers responded. A patient was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A speed limit sign and a power pole were reported knocked over Saturday morning in the 100 block of East Madison Street in Washington. Officers responded. Jared Hanson of Washington was cited for failure to maintain control.
Two vehicles were reported parked in a no parking zone Sunday afternoon in the 70 block of West First Street in Riverside. Officers attempted to contact a business to have the vehicles moved. Officers spoke with the owner.
A vehicle was reported in a ditch Sunday night at 190th Street and Highway 1 in Washington. Iowa State patrol responded.
Motor vehicle theft
A caller in the 1100 block of East Seventh Street in Washington reported Saturday morning an auto dealership was supposed to deliver her vehicle earlier in the evening and it was not there when she got off of work. Officers were advised. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 2900 block of Yucca Avenue in Crawfordsville reported Saturday morning receiving a phony e-mail allegedly from PayPal asking for her Social Security number and Discover Card information. Officers spoke with the caller. The incident was documented.
All other thefts
A caller in the 900 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington reported Friday morning coming home from work to find things missing. A $100 bottle of wine had been opened and drank. An iPod was missing, as well as clothes, antiques and the son’s keys. Officers attempted to locate suspects to see if they had the items in question and to advise them that they are no longer welcome on the property. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 2300 block of 230th Street in Washington reported Saturday evening that her mailbox was run over. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 400 block of West Washington Street in Washington was reported harassing a tenant and making threats Friday evening. Officers responded. Unfounded. The incident was documented.
A subject was reported on a property in the 300 block of West Washington Street in Washington Friday morning and he was not allowed there. Officers spoke with the caller, who was advised a tenant had invited the subject over and officers could not pursue a trespass charge. Officers spoke with the subject and advised him he was not welcome at the apartments. The incident was documented.
Loud music was reported coming from a garage in the 800 block of Ninth Avenue in Wellman. Officers were unable to locate.
All other offenses
A caller in the 200 block of East Main Street in Washington reported Saturday evening her boyfriend was intoxicated and had made a suicidal statement and had threatened the caller. Officers responded. The subjects agreed to leave the residence.
A caller in the 800 block of Third Street in Kalona reported Friday evening a light was on in her bedroom and no one was supposed to be at her residence. Officers responded. No problem.
A welfare check was requested Friday afternoon on a subject who was a potential danger to himself. Officers responded. The subject was fine.
A welfare check was requested Sunday morning in the 800 block of Tam Street in Ainsworth. Officers advised the subject was located. No problems.
