Arrests

Everette William Green, 31, of Washington, was arrested Monday afternoon in the 300 block of West Washington Boulevard in Washington on a warrant for criminal mischief.

Robert Lee Love Jr., 33, of Waterloo, was arrested Monday afternoon at Highway 218 and 192nd Street in Ainsworth for possession of marijuana.

Travis Alan Peterson, 21, of Washington, was arrested Monday afternoon in the 2400 block of Spruce Avenue in Ainsworth on a warrant for ongoing criminal conduct, third-degree theft, criminal mischief, three counts of first-degree theft, Two counts of second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, three counts of second-degree theft, two counts of second-degree criminal mischief, trespass, four counts of trespass and criminal mischief, two counts of aiding and abetting theft, and two counts of aiding and abetting criminal mischief.

Alexander Lee Fields, 19, of Washington, was arrested Monday afternoon in the 2400 block of Spruce Avenue in Ainsworth for theft, burglary and criminal mischief.

Michael Patrick Mueller, 19, of Washington, was arrested Monday afternoon in the 2400 block of Spruce Avenue in Ainsworth for on-going criminal conduct, three counts of first-degree theft, second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, two counts of trespassing, second degree criminal mischief, aiding and abetting second degree theft, two counts of aiding and abetting second degree criminal mischief, and aiding and abetting first-degree theft.

Nathan Douglas Mueller, 22, of Washington, was arrested Monday afternoon in the 2400 block of Spruce Avenue in Ainsworth for ongoing criminal conduct, third degree theft, fourth degree criminal mischief, four counts of first degree theft, two counts of second degree burglary, third degree burglary, two counts of second degree theft and criminal mischief, three counts of trespass and theft, criminal mischief and driving under suspension, second degree criminal mischief and trespass, aiding and abetting first degree theft and criminal mischief, aiding and abetting second degree theft and aiding and abetting criminal mischief.

 

Traffic accidents

A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Monday evening in the 3300 block of G52 in Ainsworth. The incident was documented.

 

Burglary

A caller in the 1000 block of Walnut Avenue in Riverside reported Monday afternoon being notified by his bank that his debit card was used earlier in Iowa City. Upon further checking, he found that his vehicle had been broken into while parked in his garage. His wallet was missing. Officers responded. The incident was documented.

A caller reported Monday afternoon that someone had tried to break into an apartment in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue in Wellman. The incident was documented.

 

Fraud

A caller in the 500 block of South Mechanic Street in Brighton reported Monday morning that her deceased son’s food stamp card was missing and was being used. She knows who is in possession of the card. Officers spoke with the caller. DHS will investigate the case.

 

Animal complaint

A caller reported Monday morning that a pit bull had chased his daughter in the 700 block of 13th Street in Kalona the previous day. Officers spoke with the owner.

A pit bull was reported running loose Monday night in the 300 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington. Officers were unable to locate.

 

All other offenses

A vehicle was reported Monday afternoon in the 3200 block of Highway 1 in Brighton travelling northbound on the south bound shoulder of the roadway. Officers were unable to locate.

A caller in the 200 block of North Boise Street in Riverside reported Monday afternoon that someone had made false reports and he would like to file charges. Officers spoke with the caller. The incident was documented.

 

Suspicious activity

Suspicious items were reported seized from a property in the 500 block of D Avenue in Kalona Monday night., Charges are pending.
