Charges filed
Brianna Jane Brown, 18, of Washington, was charged Thursday morning in the 100 block of Westview Drive in Washington with possession of a controlled substance – marijuana.
Jesus Antonio Minard, 18, of Washington, was charged Thursday afternoon in the 100 block of Westview Drive in Washington with possession of a controlled substance – marijuana.

Updated charges
Katelyn Nicole Davis, 16, of Washington, and Synthia Renee Palmer, 15, of Washington, were charged with simple assault in reference to an incident that occurred Feb. 28 in the 1100 block of South B Avenue in Washington.

Traffic accidents
A vehicle reportedly clipped the caller’s vehicle Thursday morning at North 12th and 220th Street in Washington. The caller had three kids with him. No injuries were reported. Information was exchanged.

Vandalism
Someone reportedly keyed a van Thursday afternoon in the 300 block of A Place in Kalona. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 600 block of Tam Street in Ainsworth reported Thursday evening that her 17-year-old son broke the garage door. Officers spoke with the caller.

Intimidation/harassment
A caller in the 700 block of East 15th Street in Washington requested Thursday morning to speak with an officer in reference to continual harassment. Officers responded.
A caller in the 1600 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington reported Thursday evening that one of the tenants was harassing another via text messaging over parking spaces. There are no assigned spaces. The subject had threatened to damage cars in the parking lot. Officers left a message for the tenant. She did not call back.

Animal complaints
A barking dog was reported Thursday evening in the 2000 block of Willow Avenue in Ainsworth. Officers responded. A written warning was issued.
