Kelly Renee Stone, 23, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 600 block of West Jefferson Street in Washington for failure to appear for debtor’s exam.
Mikeal Paul Good, 32, of Wayland, was arrested Tuesday night in the 500 block of East Madison Street in Brighton for probation violation on an original charge of failure to comply with sex offender registry.
Jeffrey Alan Fields, 34, of Riverside, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 600 block of Ash Street in Riverside for OWI and striking an unattended vehicle. Charges are pending per DCI lab results for possession of a controlled substance and possession of contraband – taking drugs into jail.
A truck was reported in the 800 block of South Third Avenue in Washington Tuesday afternoon and it had been sitting there for days without moving. Officers responded.
A caller in the 1300 block of Ginkgo Avenue in Wellman reported Tuesday morning that while picking up students a van followed him. The van passed the school bus in a no-passing zone. The incident was documented.
A smoke alarm was reported going off Tuesday evening in the 1600 block of North Fifth Avenue in Washington. Washington Fire Department and officers responded. No fire.
A ditch fire was reported Wednesday morning in the 1500 block of SW Angle Road in Kalona. Kalona Fire Department responded.
All other thefts
A gas drive-off in the amount of $20 was reported Tuesday afternoon in the 600 block of E Avenue in Kalona. The incident was documented.
An officer was requested Tuesday afternoon in the 300 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington in reference to a theft. Charges were filed on Emily Jade Chance, 13, for fifth-degree theft.
Fundraiser cash was reported stolen Tuesday afternoon in the 800 block of North Fourth Avenue in Washington. The incident is under investigation.
A vehicle was reported vandalized Tuesday night 300 block of North Fourth Avenue in Washington. The incident was documented.
A caller reported Tuesday morning that a subject threatened him in the 400 block of West Washington Boulevard in Washington. Officers responded.
Several subjects were reported trespassing on a property and swimming in a pond in the 100 block of Golf View Lane in Washington Tuesday afternoon. Officers responded and spoke with a mother and son. The incident was documented.

A cell phone was reported stolen Tuesday afternoon in Central Park in Washington. The incident was documented.
An officer was requested Tuesday afternoon in the 1000 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington to speak with the caller’s child in reference to aggressive behavior. Officers responded.
A subject reportedly left a business in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington Tuesday night without paying for two pizzas. Officers spoke with all parties involved.
Family offense non violent
A disturbance was reported between family members Monday evening in the 800 block of 10th Avenue in Wellman. Officers responded.
A caller in the 300 block of Fifth Street in Kalona reported Saturday morning it sounded as if someone was trying to break into a business. Officers were unable to locate anyone.
A caller reported Saturday morning that bottle made with contents to do damage had blown up on his vehicle. The incident was documented.
A window was reported broken out of a residence in the 600 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington Saturday morning. Officers responded. The window was broken from the inside out.
A subject reportedly took mail from a mailbox in the 100 block of West 14th Street in Washington. Officers responded and located the mail.
A subject was reported going through people’s trash Monday morning on North Marion Avenue in Washington. Officers responded.
A suspicious situation was reported Monday afternoon in the 1900 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers responded. A subject had set off a bear repellant in the store. Charges are pending.
Suspicious activity was reported Monday afternoon in Washington County. Officers were advised.
A caller in the 200 block of A Avenue in Kalona reported Saturday evening that her 3-year-old nephew was missing. Officers responded and located the child.
A caller in the 100 block of South Main Street in Crawfordsville reported Monday evening her 22-year-old autistic son was missing. Officers, Crawfordsville Fire, Washington Fire, and Ainsworth Fire responded. The subject was located.
Public service contact
A vehicle was reported Friday afternoon in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington with a baby sleeping in the back and no one else in the vehicle. Officers counseled the parents.
An officer was requested Tuesday afternoon in the 600 block of East Polk Street in Washington regarding options to limit the time subjects spend there when not visiting a family member. Officers responded. The subjects left before officers’ arrival. A letter will be sent advising the subjects of visiting times.
A welfare check was requested Saturday morning on a subject in the 300 block of South Benton Street in Brighton. Officers responded. No problem.
A subject was reported sitting in the 1500 block of Highway 1 in Washington Saturday evening. Officers responded.
