Andres Lucho Polito, 26, of Kalona, was arrested Monday afternoon in the 500 block of A Avenue in Kalona for simple assault.
An officer reported being out with an accident Tuesday morning in the 100 block of East Washington Street in Washington. No injuries. The incident was documented.
Subjects were reported tearing up a newly seeded area in the 3100 block of 250th Street in Ainsworth Monday evening. Officers responded and spoke with three subjects on mini motorcycles. No damage was located. The incident was documented.
A fire alarm indicated smoke in the office of the Kalona Historical Society in the 700 block of D Avenue in Kalona. Kalona Fire Department responded. No fire.
A caller in the 500 block of North Iowa Avenue in Washington reported Monday afternoon that her 17-year-old daughter assaulted her by pushing and shoving her and threw keys at her. Officers spoke with both parties.
Motor vehicle theft
A caller presorted Tuesday morning that his truck had been stolen Tuesday morning in the 100 block of First Street in Kalona. Officers spoke with the caller. The truck was entered as stolen.
A business in the 1000 block of Sixth Street in Wellman was reported broken into Tuesday morning. A report will be filed.
A softball was reportedly thrown through a window of a residence in the 100 block of Fifth Street in Kalona Monday morning. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 80 block of West Second Street in Riverside reported Tuesday morning that a neighbor kept harassing them. Officers were advised. The incident was documented.
An on-going problem with illegal dumping was reported Monday afternoon in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington. The caller reported finding trash with a large quantity of identifying mail. Officers spoke with the caller. The incident was documented.
A bat was reported in a residence in the 200 block of West Jefferson Street in Washington Tuesday morning.
A loud party was reported Sunday morning in the 200 block of North Second Avenue in Washington. Officers responded.

A caller in the 2300 block of Yucca Avenue in Ainsworth requested Friday afternoon to speak with a deputy in reference to a domestic situation. Officers spoke with the caller. It was a civil issue.
A caller in the 700 block of 12th Avenue in Wellman reported Friday evening a dog bit his son. Officers responded.
A caller in the 2300 block of 150th Street in Kalona requested to speak with a deputy Friday night. Officers responded. A subject will leave for the evening.
A gas drive-off in the amount of $30.02 was reported Saturday afternoon in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A subject in the 500 block of South Eighth Avenue in Washington was reported Saturday afternoon throwing rocks into the caller’s yard. Officers responded and spoke with all subjects.
Three juveniles were reported shooting BB guns Saturday night in the 500 block of Old Military Road in Ainsworth. Officers spoke with all parties.

A caller in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington reported Monday evening interviewing a subject who failed to appear for a mittimus. The subject is currently incarcerated.
