Stephanie Rose Thompson, 29, of Kalona, was arrested Monday night in the 900 block of East Madison Street in Washington for domestic abuse.
A skid steer loader was reported on fire Monday afternoon at Redwood Avenue and 320th Street in Wayland. Wayland Fire Department responded.
A narcotics violation was reported Monday afternoon in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington. The incident is under investigation.
An officer was requested Monday morning in the 600 block of East Polk Street in Washington regarding threatening statements on Facebook made by a disgruntled former employee. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
A caller reported Monday morning that a dog in a backyard in the 700 block of South Eighth Avenue in Washington had bit a delivery person on May 3. The dog didn’t make contact with the skin, but tore the pants. Officers left a card for the owner to call.
Dogs were reported constantly barking Monday evening in the 900 block of East Main Street in Washington. Officers spoke with the owner. The dogs were taken inside.
All other offenses
A caller in the 70 block of East First Street in Riverside requested Monday morning to speak with a deputy regarding an issue with a customer. Officers spoke with the caller. Options were given regarding a trespass order.
Subjects were reported moving out of a residence in the 1300 block of Tulip Avenue in Riverside Monday afternoon and a tenant from another lot allowed them to keep items there. The caller reported $900 worth of items was missing. Officers spoke with all parties. The caller was evicted and the items remained past the deadline she was given to have the items removed. It was a civil issue.
Two juveniles reportedly left the alternative learning center in the 700 block of Fourth Street in Wellman. Officers responded. The subjects were located. One of the subjects had his mother’s permission to leave school. They were advised next time to make sure the school is fully aware of the situation.
A subject was reported walking at South B Avenue and West Monroe Street in Washington Monday night and would not get in the car with the caller. A welfare check was requested. Officers spoke with the subject, who was fine.
