Curtis Wayne Bunnell, 40, of Oskaloosa, was arrested Wednesday morning in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington for second-degree theft.
Stephanie Pauline Dlouhy, 31, of Riverside, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 80 block of West Second Street in Riverside for possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon. Charges are pending for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jim Edward Slater, 51, of DeWitt, Texas, was arrested Wednesday night in the 300 block of East Main Street in Washington for operating while intoxicated.
A two-vehicle accident was reported Wednesday morning in the 200 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers responded. Over $1,500 damage was reported.
A subject reportedly drove up over a curb Wednesday morning in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington and hit the front of the store. No injuries were reported. Officers responded. Over $1,500 damage was reported.
The back end of a school bus reportedly hit a parked car Wednesday morning at South Fourth Avenue and East Jefferson Street in Washington. Officers responded. Under $1,500 damage was reported. Officers attempted to contact the owner. Insurance information was exchanged.
A vehicle reportedly struck a child on a bicycle Wednesday afternoon in the 300 block of West Madison Street in Washington. Officers, Washington County Fire Department, Washington County Rescue and Washington County Ambulance responded. One subject was transported to the Washington County Hospital. Trevje Karugo of Washington was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn.
Traffic stop serious
Eliza Marie Walsh, 26, of Washington, was cited Wednesday evening at South Ninth Avenue and East van Buren Street in Washington for failure to register vehicle, failure to provide proof of insurance and driving under suspension.
A bus stop arm violation was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers responded. The incident is under investigation.
Smoke was reported coming from under the hood of a vehicle in the 100 block of West Washington Street in Washington. Washington Fire Department responded. The fire was extinguished.
An attempted break in was reported Wednesday morning in the 500 block of Third Street in Kalona. A screen was reported off a window and the window was broken. Officers responded. No entry was gained. The incident was documented.
A caller reported Wednesday afternoon she and her family got lost while mushroom hunting near Kiwi and 305th Street. A passerby took two of the people back to their truck when another vehicle came along and blocked the truck in, called the people names, harassed them, and left. Officers spoke with all parties.
A search warrant was reported executed Wednesday afternoon in the 80 block of West Second Street in Riverside.

A blue trash barrel was reported smoking Wednesday afternoon in the 900 block of West Main Street in Washington. Officers and Washington Fire Department responded. The fire was extinguished.
An officer was requested Wednesday evening in the 300 block of East Madison Street in Washington for an ongoing issue. Officers responded.
A bicycle was reported located Thursday morning at South B Avenue and West Monroe Street in Washington. It was taken to the bike shed.
Family offense non violent
A caller in the 600 block of North D Avenue in Washington reported Wednesday evening that her brother-in-law was attempting to assault her sister and would not allow them to leave. Officers responded. The situation was verbal only. The parties were separated for the night.
A caller in the 300 block of West 18th Street in Washington reported Wednesday evening her 12-year-old granddaughter had walked away from the residence. The subject was entered as missing.
A welfare check was requested Wednesday afternoon on an employee who was to be at work earlier. Officers responded. The subject was accounted for.
A welfare check was requested Wednesday evening in the 2500 block of 275th Street in Washington on a subject whom the caller said had texted and advised she had taken several pills. The subject had been suicidal in the past. Officers responded. Washington County Ambulance staged at 275th Street and Airport Road. Deputies contacted the subject who was fine and did not want to harm herself.
A caller in the 400 block of East Second Street in Washington reported Wednesday evening that a subject yelled obscene language at him when the caller road his bicycle past the residence. The subject then chased the caller’s girlfriend inside the residence. Officers responded. There was no problem and the subject was no longer at the residence.
