Todd Allen Cleverley, 47, of Washington, was arrested Thursday morning at North Second Avenue and East Third Street in Washington for public intoxication.
Jessy Lee Armstrong, 21, of Washington, was arrested Friday morning in the 900 block of South Fourth Avenue in Washington for public intoxication.
An accident was reported Thursday morning in the 200 block of A Avenue in Kalona. No injuries were reported. Officers responded. Accident occurred on private property. Information was exchanged.
Several vehicles were reported parked in a no parking zone in the 1300 block of East van Buren Street in Washington. Officers responded. The vehicles were moved.
Traffic stop serious
Jamie Kay Gust, 37, of Brighton, was cited Thursday evening at West Fifth Street and Highway 1 in Washington for no insurance and operating a non-registered vehicle.
A semi was reported parked on the gravel at Highway 1 and 170th Street in Washington making it difficult for vehicles to pass. Officers responded. There was plenty of room for vehicles to pass.
A search warrant was reported executed on devices from a previous arrest Thursday morning in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington.
A vehicle stop was reported Thursday afternoon at Highways 1 and 78 in Brighton. The driver was given a verbal warning for broken windshield and brake light. Charges are pending for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A caller in the 500 block of East Columbus Street in Crawfordsville reported Thursday morning that debit card information was stolen. Charges for about $65 were made in Palmdale, Calif. Authorities there are aware and will follow up. The incident was documented.
A bike was reported stolen out of a garage in the 300 block of North D Avenue in Washington Thursday morning.
A caller reported Thursday morning a shoplifter had been in a store in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington the previous night and the officer was requested to look at the video. Officers located a suspect who admitted to taking the item. He said he would return it to the store. Officers spoke with the county attorney and no charges will be filed.

A gas drive-off in the amount of $10.02 was reported Thursday evening in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers attempted to locate the subject.
A caller in the 1500 block of 180th Street in Wellman reported Thursday morning that her daughter’s car wheels were tampered with. She reported the lug nuts were loosened and the wheel almost came off while she was driving. The incident was documented.
A caller in the 1000 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington requested Thursday afternoon to speak with an officer in reference to an ongoing issue. Officers responded. The incident was documented.
An officer was requested Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of East Polk Street to assist with a child throwing a fit. Officers responded. The child calmed down.
Officers reported Thursday afternoon checking on a dog in the 600 block of North Seventh Avenue in Washington. PAWS and More met the officer with a scanner for a microchip in the dog to see if it belonged to another family. The microchip information was verified and the dog was returned to its rightful owner.
A barking dog was reported Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of East Main Street in Brighton. Officers responded.
A barking dog was reported Thursday evening in the 600 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers spoke with the owner.
All other offenses
An officer was requested Thursday morning in the 1300 block of North Second Avenue in Washington regarding an incident with the caller and another roommate. Officers responded. The subjects had calmed down on arrival.
Kids were reported on a playground in the 800 block of North Fourth Avenue in Washington Thursday afternoon and the caller reported hearing what sounded like a gunshot. Officers responded and spoke with a few people in the area who thought a transformer had blown. Officers were unable to locate anything suspicious.
A welfare check was requested Wednesday evening in the 2500 block of 275th Street in Washington on a subject whom the caller said had texted and advised she had taken several pills. The subject had been suicidal in the past. Officers responded. Washington County Ambulance staged at 275th Street and Airport Road. Deputies contacted the subject who was fine and did not want to harm herself.
A caller in the 400 block of East Second Street in Washington reported Wednesday evening that a subject yelled obscene language at him when the caller road his bicycle past the residence. The subject then chased the caller’s girlfriend inside the residence. Officers responded. There was no problem and the subject was no longer at the residence.

A caller in the 600 block of East Polk Street in Washington was reportedly making numerous calls stating he didn’t want to be in the nursing home Thursday afternoon. Officers responded and spoke with the subject.
