Arrests

Nathan David Brigham, 21, of Bloomfield, was arrested Friday morning in the 3300 block of Underwood Avenue in Crawfordsville on a warrant for probation revocation on attempted burglary.

Salvatore Patrick Middono Jr., 25, of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested Friday evening in the 600 block of East Second Street in Washington on a warrant for failure to appear for show cause on reckless fire.

Oscar Alberto Velasco, 20, of Washington, was arrested Friday night in the 2800 block of 230th Street in Washington for interference with official acts and cited for possession of alcohol under the legal age. Cited at the same time and location for possession of alcohol under the legal age were: Ceirra Vradenburg, 17, of Washington; Jamie Leckband, 20, of Brighton; Christopher Holt, 20, of Washington; Travis Coleman, 19, of Washington; Jessica Tate, 16, of Ainsworth; Sierra Drish, 16, of Brighton; Jordan Gier, 19, of Washington; Halie Fankhauser, 16, of Brighton; Keysha Dixon, 16, of Olds; and Gunnar Fulton, 20, of Fairfield.

Zhiyu Sun, 23, of Iowa City, was arrested Saturday morning in the 3100 block of Highway 22 in Riverside for domestic assault.

Philip James Bowen, 21, of Washington, was arrested Saturday morning in the 300 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington for fifth-degree theft.

Ashley Ara Diane Middono, 22, of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested Saturday morning in the 600 block of East Second Street in Washington for failure to appear for show cause on criminal mischief.

Arrested for disorderly conduct Saturday afternoon at Highway 22 and Washburn Street in Riverside were: Nicholas Eugene Quinn, 21, of Riverside; and Isaac James Quinn, 21, of Riverside.

Eleazar Pierre Lozano IV, 34, of Washington, was arrested Saturday evening in the 1200 block of Highway 1 in Kalona for driving under suspension.

John Lee Baker, 25, of Lone Tree, was arrested Sunday morning in the 500 block of Park Street in Ainsworth for domestic abuse simple assault.

Jermaine Isaac Alonzo Adams, 30, of Washington, was arrested Monday morning in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington for failure to appear for show cause on assault causing bodily injury.

 

Warrant

A search warrant was executed Friday afternoon in the 900 block of East Adams Street in Washington.

 

Traffic accidents

A two-vehicle accident was reported Friday afternoon in the 1900 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers responded. John Eldon Unternahrar of Wayland was cited for failure to yield on entering a highway.

A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Friday evening at Highway 218 in Riverside. Officers responded. The incident was documented.

A caller reported hitting a deer Friday evening at Dogwood Avenue in Keota. The incident was documented.

A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Friday night at Highway 1 in Kalona. The incident was documented.

An officer was requested Saturday morning in the 800 block of West Madison Street in Washington in reference to an accident that happened the previous night. The incident was documented.

A one-vehicle rollover accident was reported Saturday morning in the 2400 block of 105th Street in Washington. Kalona QRS, Kalona Fire/Rescue, officers and Washington County Ambulance responded. The accident was a lawn mower rollover. One subject was transported to Mercy Hospital.

A grain wagon and tractor reportedly hit a power pole Saturday afternoon at North 12th and 220th Street in Washington. Officers, Washington County Ambulance, Washington Fire and Alliant responded.

A vehicle vs. pedestrian accident was reported Saturday evening at South Iowa and Van Buren in Washington. Pedestrian refused treatment. Information was exchanged. The incident was documented.

A two-vehicle accident was reported Saturday evening in the 500 block of East Seventh Street in Washington. The incident was documented.

A caller at Kiwi Avenue and 300th Street in Washington reported Saturday evening his neighbor hit a deer and it was still alive. Officers responded.

A vehicle reportedly swerved to miss a deer Saturday night at struck a grain bin in the 1700 block of 250th Street in Washington. Joseph Hunt of Washington was cited for failure to maintain control, careless driving and no insurance – accident related.

A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Sunday morning at Highway 218 and 175th Street in Riverside. Officers were advised.

A caller reported Sunday morning striking a vehicle the previous night in the 600 block of Main Street in West Chester. Information was exchanged.

A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Sunday afternoon at Elm Avenue and 275th Street in Brighton. The incident was documented.

A vehicle vs. deer accident was reported Sunday evening in the 1400 block of Highway 1 in Kalona. Officers responded.

A caller reported striking a deer Sunday evening in the 1400 block of Highway 1 in Kalona. Officers responded.

 

Traffic other

A subject was reported driving in the 400 block of South Second Avenue in Washington and the children in the vehicle were not secured. Officers responded. Timothy Taylor Hall of Washington was cited for driving under suspension.

 

Fire calls

A house fire was reported Monday morning in the 400 block of East Madison Street in Washington. Everyone was out of the house. Washington Fire Department, officers and Alliant responded.

 

Kidnapping

A caller in the 300 block of East Madison Street in Washington reported Sunday afternoon her child was taken from her residence and returned. The incident is under investigation.

 

Assault

A caller in the 300 block of East Second Street in Washington reported being assaulted Saturday morning and then being chased. Officers responded. The incident was documented.

A caller in the 500 block of North Marion Avenue in Washington reported Saturday evening that his 14-year-old stepson came home with a laceration above his eye. Officers and Washington County Ambulance responded. The subject was transported to Washington County Hospital. Officers spoke with all subjects involved. The assault was accidental.

 

Drug/narcotics violations

The small of marijuana was reported coming from an apartment in the 100 block of South Second Avenue in Washington. Officers were unable to locate.

 

Burglary

A caller reported Sunday afternoon that someone attempted to break into his truck in the 500 block of West Second Street in Washington overnight. The incident was documented.

 

All other thefts

A deputy was requested Friday afternoon in the 600 block of Eighth Avenue in Wellman in reference to a theft from the residence. The incident is under investigation.

Prescription medications were reported stolen Friday evening in the 400 block of Ella Street in Riverside. The report was unfounded.

 

Vandalism

Toilet paper was reported in a yard in the 700 block of West Main Street in Washington Saturday night. Officers responded. The incident was documented.

 

Intimidation/harassment

A vehicle was reported driving by and stopping at a residence in the 500 block of West Main Street in Washington Friday night and harassing the caller.

A caller in the 700 block of South Ninth Avenue in Washington reported Friday night receiving several prank phone calls. The incident was documented.

 

Disorderly conduct

A possible fight was reported Friday night in the 300 block of North Fourth Avenue in Washington. Officers spoke with the suspects.

Subjects were reported being disorderly Saturday morning in the 300 block of North Fourth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. The parties were separated.

A juvenile was reported out of control Saturday afternoon in the 1000 block of North Sixth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded.

A caller in the 2600 block of Quince Avenue in Washington reported Saturday evening his girlfriend was “going crazy” and would not leave the residence. Officers responded.

 

Intoxicated pedestrian

A subject was refusing to leave a bar in the 200 block of East Washington Street in Brighton Sunday morning. Officers responded.

 

Hang-up 911 calls

A hang-up 911 call was received Friday night in the 20 block of East First Street in Riverside. Officers responded. Verbal only.

 

Animal complaints

A loose dog was reported Friday morning in the 300 block of North Grant Street in Crawfordsville pulling the caller’s laundry off her clothesline. Officers spoke with the owner.

Cows were reported out Friday night at Vine Avenue and 160th Street in Riverside. Officers responded.

A caller in the 200 block of West Main Street in Brighton reported Saturday afternoon that the neighbor’s dog had come onto his porch and jumped into his lap. Officers responded. Linsey Billingsley was cited for allowing a dog to run at large.

A large deer was reported in the roadway at Highway 218 and 250th Street in Ainsworth Sunday afternoon. Officers removed the deer.

Loud music was reported coming from a vehicle in Sunset Park in Washington Friday evening. Officers responded.

Loud music was reported coming from an apartment in the 400 block of East Washington Street in Washington. Officers responded.

A loud noise was reported Saturday morning in the 1400 block of Ridgeview Court in Washington. Officers responded.

Yelling was reported Saturday morning in the 300 block of East Second Street in Washington. Officers responded. The parties were separated.

Loud music was reported Saturday evening in the 500 block of North C Avenue in Washington. Officers responded.

A DP&Q was reported Saturday night at South Marion and Harrison Street in Washington. Officers responded and spoke with subjects who were packing their things.

Loud music was reported playing Sunday afternoon in the 100 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington. Officers responded and spoke with the subjects.

Loud music was reported Sunday evening in the 500 block of North C Avenue in Washington. Officers responded. The music was turned down.

 

All other offenses

An abandoned bicycle was reported Saturday afternoon at Sunset Park in Washington. It was taken to the bike shed.

 

Family offense non violent

A possible family situation was reported Friday morning in the 100 block of West Columbus Street in Crawfordsville. Officers responded.

A violation of a no contact order was reported Friday night in the 900 block of South 11th Street in Washington. Officers responded. No violation.

 

Suspicious activity

A vehicle was reported driving in the 2600 block of 105th Street in Riverside with no headlights on. Officers checked the area.

Three suspicious subjects were reported Saturday morning at Sunset Park in Washington. Officers responded. The subjects were advised to return home.
